State Of The Union (dissected and translated)

I'm not sure I will have time for everything in a speech full of emptiness, symbolism, and lies, but I will attempt to address some of the excerpts from last nights Obama campaign speech:

Now, by itself, this simple recognition won't usher in a new era of cooperation. What comes of this moment is up to us. What comes of this moment will be determined not by whether we can sit together tonight, but whether we can work together tomorrow.

I believe we can. I believe we must. That's what the people who sent us here expect of us. With their votes, they've determined that governing will now be a shared responsibility between parties. New laws will only pass with support from Democrats and Republicans. We will move forward together, or not at all – for the challenges we face are bigger than party, and bigger than politics.

translated: vote for the democrats bills, or the next catchphrase we will start using is gridlock.

At stake right now is not who wins the next election – after all, we just had an election. At stake is whether new jobs and industries take root in this country, or somewhere else. It's whether the hard work and industry of our people is rewarded. It's whether we sustain the leadership that has made America not just a place on a map, but a light to the world.

We are poised for progress. Two years after the worst recession most of us have ever known, the stock market has come roaring back. Corporate profits are up. The economy is growing again.

But we have never measured progress by these yardsticks alone. We measure progress by the success of our people. By the jobs they can find and the quality of life those jobs offer. By the prospects of a small business owner who dreams of turning a good idea into a thriving enterprise. By the opportunities for a better life that we pass on to our children.

I'm not sure "sustain" is the right word to use here. What has Obama done to help small business owners. As he properly referenced, they are the people who create jobs in this nation, and the only thing he has done is raise taxes on them and create more government regulatory red tape to slow their progress.

We did that in December. Thanks to the tax cuts we passed, Americans' paychecks are a little bigger today. Every business can write off the full cost of the new investments they make this year. These steps, taken by Democrats and Republicans, will grow the economy and add to the more than one million private sector jobs created last year.

YOU LIE!!! Yeah, I said it!! Obama did not cut taxes one cent. Obama allowed the Bush era tax cuts to remain in effect. Let me get this straight, Obama blames every bad thing that happens on Bush, and every good thing Bush did he tries to take credit for. Plus, my memory isn't that short term yet that I don't remember how vehemently he, and his democratic cohorts fought to stop these tax cuts from remaining.

What's more, we are the first nation to be founded for the sake of an idea – the idea that each of us deserves the chance to shape our own destiny.

Exactly!! So please stop taking from those that go out and shape it and giving to those that refuse to. "idea", "chance", and "destiny" are not words that fit in a socialist nation.

Now it's our turn. We know what it takes to compete for the jobs and industries of our time. We need to out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world.

Stop taking disproportionately from those that do this and giving to those that don't and you will create more people outperforming in these areas. It's really not rocket science.

We need to take responsibility for our deficit, and reform our government.

Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal!! Is that what you've done the last two years on your spending spree???

Our free enterprise system is what drives innovation. But because it's not always profitable for companies to invest in basic research, throughout history our government has provided cutting-edge scientists and inventors with the support that they need.

translation: Tax and Spend!!

Half a century ago, when the Soviets beat us into space with the launch of a satellite called Sputnik¸ we had no idea how we'd beat them to the moon. The science wasn't there yet. NASA didn't even exist. But after investing in better research and education, we didn't just surpass the Soviets; we unleashed a wave of innovation that created new industries and millions of new jobs.

Tax and Spend again...also of note. How dare he use NASA as an example when he has, in two years, cut their budget in a big way and announced that they were going to be a muslim outreach group?

This is our generation's Sputnik moment. Two years ago, I said that we needed to reach a level of research and development we haven't seen since the height of the Space Race. In a few weeks, I will be sending a budget to Congress that helps us meet that goal. We'll invest in biomedical research, information technology, and especially clean energy technology – an investment that will strengthen our security, protect our planet, and create countless new jobs for our people.

Spend, Spend, Spend!! Note he uses the word especially when it comes to "green" research, because these liberals still expect us to believe in global warming!! They have made too much money off the fairy tale and don't want it to die. A large part of our economic meltdown can be traced back to the overburdening "green" regulations that have been enacted over the last decade by congress. They have strangled many industries literally to death with all of the crazy rules they've instituted in the name of saving the earth from all of us. All of this over the global warming hoax!!

With more research and incentives, we can break our dependence on oil with biofuels, and become the first country to have 1 million electric vehicles on the road by 2015.

I am willing to bet my entire retirement that unless the government buys 90% of them, that this will not happen. Really want to jumpstart the economy??? Stop with this electric car farce and DRILL BABY DRILL!!

We need to get behind this innovation. And to help pay for it, I'm asking Congress to eliminate the billions in taxpayer dollars we currently give to oil companies.

YOU LIE again!!! The government does not pay oil companies. Are you kidding me. The government taxes the hell out of oil companies, refuses to let them drill where they know there is oil, and attempts to villainize them if they dare to turn a 5% profit. What a joke this statement is!!!

Now, clean energy breakthroughs will only translate into clean energy jobs if businesses know there will be a market for what they're selling.

Uh, sorry Mr. President, free enterprise and capitalism will determine if there is a market for the above technology. When the government attempts to strong-arm capitalism and free markets in this manner it destroys the entire economy...see past American History for all the details.

Think about it. Over the next ten years, nearly half of all new jobs will require education that goes beyond a high school degree. And yet, as many as a quarter of our students aren't even finishing high school. The quality of our math and science education lags behind many other nations. America has fallen to 9th in the proportion of young people with a college degree. And so the question is whether all of us – as citizens, and as parents – are willing to do what's necessary to give every child a chance to succeed.

Yes, all those families in Washington DC thank you for cancelling their voucher programs. Well done.

Okay, I must apologize. I cannot read anymore of this transcript. The lies and misinformation are making me angry and I feel the urge to kick puppies...sorry PETA.

I can best sum up my response to the State of the Union with this line from Billy madison:

"Nowhere in your rambling incoherent response did you come close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. We are all dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul."

Generation "WE"...Generation Brainwashed

To anyone who still has their children enrolled in public school and/or is not actively involved in what is being taught to them on a daily basis, I introduce you to the result of blindly trusting the public education system with your children for the last 20 years:

Eric Greenberg is the author of this wonderful little piece of liberal propaganda, which claims this "generation" is "independent—politically, socially, and philosophically." If this is true, I am guessing that they wrote their own lines for this video, right Mr. Greenberg??? I am watching ten year old kids on this video utilizing liberal talking points throughout. I wonder where those came from, did these lines come directly from the brains of these "independent thinkers?"

First, I must address any children who actually, independently believe the propaganda from this video, which draws the most grim of pictures for today's youth, and tugs at the heart-strings of all to the most tragic plight of our poor youth, and the horrible world that awaits them.

Okay kids, I have an assignment for you today; so stop texting on your cell phones, take your ipod buds out of your ears, turn off your video games, and pick up the following book from the library, if they carry it. It's a little non-fiction work titled, "Angela's Ashes" by Frank McCourt. It is an autobiography of growing up in New York and Ireland in the 1930's and 1940's.

After reading, please let me know how worried you are about global warming, pollution, and your 'life span being less than your parents' when you are sharing one hard-boiled egg with your brothers and sisters.

Would you be so concerned with our "dependence on fossil fuels" if you were sharing one outdoor toilet with all of your neighbors? How would you feel about alleged "water contamination" when your water supply was flooded in the downstairs section of your dilapidated apartment?

Would you be so concerned about polluting your environment if you had to scavenge the streets for a lump of coal to somewhat heat your home?

Would you be so concerned with your life span being less than your parents if their was a good chance you would watch one or more of your siblings die in infancy or early childhood?

I am thinking that you might not see your current lives as such dire circumstances if you were in the situation that Mr. McCourt found his childhood to be in...just a thought.

I do not wish to spend too much of my article directed at the kids who allegedly identify with this Generation We movement, as they are obviously unwitting pawns in the "progressive" (socialist) movement.

Yes, that's right...while we were busy working two jobs to pay for two new cars and a nice new home that it was our "right" to possess...while we were busy working overtime to pay for our multiple high definition televisions, Playstation 3, Xbox, and all the other things we were entitled to have to make our children's lives better than ours were, we failed them. We colossally failed them. I will be the first to admit that I may most assuredly be included in this failure, and I will live with that knowedge for the rest of my life. It is extremely hard to "turn back" the mistakes we make with our kids once they are teenagers, though we must try if that is the position we find ourselves in...back to the point.

I'm not sure what day it was, but at some point we stopped being parents, and started trying to be our kids best friends. This is the point at which we surrendered a portion of our abilities to teach and influence their behavior to strangers. These strangers, i.e. the public school system has been filling their heads with socialist mush for quite a few years now and the results are quite clear in this video, which also has an entire website dedicated to the movement at http://www.gen-we.com/

(I, unlike the President, run a transparent site, therefore, I must admit I stopped writing this here and went for a run before continuing below.)

This site claims "Generation We" is comprised of "independent thinkers" who are "less politically partisan" than previous generations. Surprisingly the quotes on the home page of this group are none other than Senator Harry Reid and Arianna Huffington, well known extreme far left individuals. So much for "non-partisan." That would explain why the alleged "independent thoughts" of the youths in the video are exact liberal (statist) talking points.

It is imperative that we stop the brainwashing of our children by these socialist organizations. Below I have linked the "Generation We" declaration, which should disturb everyone. It speaks of globalization of our sovereign nation, and below is a quote from it dealing with global warming:

"Global warming is changing the entire landscape of opportunity and risks, and little is being done to immediately fix what is known to be enduring damage. Some even deny its existence. Caring for the environment is considered a burdensome expense, rather than a necessity for our future."

Really??? Seriously??? Some even deny it's existence??? No way!!! How can that be??? How can anyone deny the existence of something that has never been proven, and in fact, has been shown on numerous occasions to be a fairy tale, forced upon the population by scientists with a known agenda, who have now been shown to have knowingly changed scientific data in order to support their flawed theory?? Why would anyone question such individuals?

Seriously, we can keep working to turn back the damage that is currently being done by the Obama administration and the liberal run Congress. We have definitely been making wonderful progress in blocking the socialization of this nation, and the "Tea Party" movement is doing well at waking up a large section of our nation which still believes in conservative values, but this will only be a temporary victory for conservatism, unless we begin concentrating more on the youth of our nation, and waking them up from the brainwashing they have undertaken. Otherwise, as scary and/or laughable as this "Generation We" movement may seem at the moment, will become a horrible nightmare when these same youth, donning their "Obama Youth" uniforms, enter your dwelling place to remove your privately owned weapons, books deemed inappropriate for the progressive nation, and make arrests of anyone espousing viewpoints not deemed to be in line with the government. I know, that last part was way over the top and unbelievable. That could never happen to our nation...Right?

If the dissenting scientists would just factor in Al-gore-rhythms into the formula, they would see that the "debate is over." What crazy times we are living in!!

MAJOR NEWS NETWORKS WON'T COVER CLIMATEGATE...STILL THINK THERE'S NO BIAS?

Even Comedy Central's fake journalist, Jon Stewart, a well-known liberal, is covering this...yet there is silence from ABC, CBS, NBC, etc...anyone who still thinks they're getting objective news from the major networks is naive.

Global Warming Myth Hits Pocketbooks Directly Now.

Good morning. I know this is old news, but you can never spotlight traitors or "wolves in sheeps clothing" enough. A few weeks ago the House of Representatives passed the "Cap and Trade" bill which, if passed, will become the broadest, all-encompassing tax increase on energy on the American taxpayer in this nations history. This environmental whacko pleasing bill passed by 7 votes. Had 8 so-called Republicans voted with their party and the wishes of the constituents who elected them to office, this horrific tax burden in the name of fairy tale science might have been averted, but they instead, chose the low road of selling out the American people for some cheap promise of a future committee position, or maybe some pork-spending earmarks. I have listed these sellouts below in the hopes that the voters in their respective states might choose the high road of ousting their crooked carcasses from public office.

Mary Bono Mack (CA) (202) 225-5330
Mike Castle (DE) (202) 225-4165
Mark Kirk (IL) (202) 225-4835
Leonard Lance (NJ) (202) 225-5361
Frank LoBiondo (NJ) (202) 225-6572
John McHugh (NY) (202) 225-4611
Dave Reichert (WA) (202) 225-7761
Chris Smith (NJ) (202) 225-3765

Yes, patriotic Americans, these are the traitors who voted for your energy bills doubling over the next year in the name of reversing the alleged effects of global warming, which 1) has not been proven to exist, 2) even if it were proven to exist, there is no evidence to support that humans are causing it, and 3) there is no evidence to support that any action we have taken or are trying to take would have any positive effect on reversing the so called warming. Global warming is nothing more than a modern day snake oil salesman scam. All of the special interest groups involved in propagating this theory have no interest in factual science. They have latched onto a weak theory, determined it to be true, and sent their minions around the world selling their product of fear to all who will listen. They trust that they will be successful as long as we Americans are too busy or lazy to research the facts ourselves. They have propagandized their groups legitimacy to the heights that the average American just blindly believes these days that global warming is a fact supported by science; when in reality, these special interest groups have smothered any results of objective scientific research which may show negativity to global warming's existence. Global warming is nothing more than a large scale money-train for Al Gore and his minions. Up to this point it was amusing to think so many could be so easily duped into this modern day "Chicken Little" tale. It has ceased to be amusing when our elected leaders now want to combat the fictitious Armageddon by doubling our energy taxes and forcing us into unsafe little electric cars. Everyone needs to start calling their senators immediately and tell them to stop this madness before the federal government transforms the United States into a 3rd world country.
