A Formal Apology And Prayer For Israel

It is no great secret that I do not agree with the current President on many things. I do not believe in his "spread the wealth" aka socialism. I do not support a government imposed healthcare system. I do not support spending twice as much as we make as a a nation each year...and I could go on all day, but one need only read some of my posts to see where I stand on most concerns.

Regardless of my very strong opinions on all of these policies, no stance is more important in our nation than our position regarding Israel. Israel is, first and foremost, a land blessed by God

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. Ezekiel 28:25

Israel is a beacon of light in the middle east, which seeks only to survive and exist amongst numerous nations which daily seek it's demise. It is no accident that this tiny nation continues to survive and thrive while being surrounded by hostile muslim nations who have attempted on numerous occasions to wipe them from the map. If there is any physical evidence to prove the existence of our God in Heaven the continued existence of the nation of Israel in the face of threatened extinction by it's islamic neighbors is nothing short of a miracle. This small nation represents morals and values similar to our own nation and we must support her against all radical, evil elements, which rise up against her.

Rather than continue a friendly, supportive policy towards the greatest ally we have in this world, our current President has continuously thrown Israel under the bus. Most recently, he has called for Israel to withdraw back to it's pre-Six Day War 1967 borders. You know, one of the many times Israel's neighbors (Egypt, Syria, and Jordan) have joined forces in an attempt to destroy Israel.

This is incomrehensible, as it would make Israel unable to defend itself properly. Our President is stepping into dangerous territory by turning his back on Israel. I do not believe for one minute that he is representing the views of the people of our nation on this matter.

Mark my words...our nation has been blessed by God throughout it's history by standing up for decency, freedom, and liberty of mankind on the World's stage. The day we, as a nation, turn our back on Israel...we, as a nation, will cease to receive these blessings. I pray for Israel this day and for all the upcoming days that they struggle to survive in the face of our growing abandonment of them. May they be blessed and survive long enough that we might replace the personnel in our nations highest offices which seek to side with evil.

Budgets, Deficits, and Lies, Oh My!!

For those of us with short term memories, this is what our wise President said shortly after taking office, regarding budget deficits, i.e. spending more money than you are bringing in.

For those who may be too broke to pay attention at this point in the game, when Obama took office the current budget contained a 455 billion dollar deficit. Since then, President Obama has not only failed to do what he promised (cut the deficit in half) but has gone aggressively in the opposite direction. In 2009 our nations budget had a 1.41 trillion dollar deficit, and in 2010, as you may know he and his fellow libs could not even pass a new budget, so our government operated on a frugal 1.29 trillion dollar deficit. This years budget will again outspend our nations income by 1.65 trillion dollars.

What has this created? Well at the end of 2008 our national debt outstanding was about 10 trillion dollars. Since then our debt found a new gear and has rocketed up to 14.2 trillion in only two years!!

Really?? Seriously?? Yet this President still has the gall to appear on television and with a straight face, lecture us on fiscal responsibility!! What would happen if any of us spent twice as much each year as we made? Yes, I can almost hear your laughter. We know what would happen. The interest we, as a nation pay on this debt is more money than most of us will see in a lifetime, and the government throws it around like monopoly money. Come to think of it, not even monopoly allows a person to go this far into debt without being removed from the game.

The Presidents new solution, according to his speech yesterday, is to raise our taxes. Yes, the last two years he has been spending money aggressively beyond our income, and his solution, rather than discipline himself and our government, is to impose more control over the dwindling amount of money made by those who do work for a living. You know, the poor saps who are required to live WITHIN their budget.

To those who would oppose this plan...you guessed it, the oldest play in the liberal playbook...FEARMONGERING!! Obama, in his speech, accused those who opposed his new tax plan of cutting services to seniors and poor children while giving tax cuts to the rich. Gee! Where have I heard this line of crap before? Oh Yeah, every year the liberals want to raise taxes they march this soundbite out for duty. Just listen over the next week or so to how many liberals you will hear stating this garbage. It's as if they all attend a meeting and are given their talking points for the upcoming week. Actually it's not "as if", I'm pretty sure that's exactly how it happens.

The Government Shutdown Through The Eyes of One Marine

As the question looms whether the government will or will not shutdown at midnight tonight, it becomes increasingly annoying watching and/or listening to the media's spin on the proceedings. I have heard more faux outrage over the closing of national parks and monuments than I can stomach from most so-called news organizations. Seriously!! Is that really the major issue with the government shutting down??

President Obama is attempting to paint himself as the mediator and peacemaker between the Dems and Rebublicans, but it was he who sent Congress a budget which called for 3.7 trillion (with a "T") in spending when the estimated income of the nation will only be 2.2 Trillion. How many of us are so lucky in our financial arenas??

The Republicans have proposed an adjustment which reduces spending by 60 billion, or 1.6% of Obama's requested spending. The democrats, immediately, have called the spending cuts "extreme" and, with the ever-willing assistance of the mainstream news media attempted to portray the evil republicans as hateful people who want to kill senior citizens, starve children, and make everyone homeless. Here's my question...how many Americans still believe any of this fact-free fear mongering??? This is a card in the liberal playbook that has been played over and over again. None of the dire predictions by libs ever come to fruition. Utilizing common sense (tough for some) can you possibly believe that congressional representatives of any party want to kill seniors, starve kids, and make everyone homeless??? Additionally, could you possibly believe that cutting 1.6% of spending will cause this to happen??? If anything, this is a moment of clarity, when everyone should be able to see just how sick the liberals have become over the last few years with spending. They cannot fathom cutting it whatsoever, even when it is increasingly clear that our debt is spiraling out of control and our nation is headed for a painful crash.

To be honest, the paltry cuts the republicans have requested don't even begin to fix the problem. There should be many more cuts and they start with the inflated public sector workforce. There are so many unnecessary and pointless jobs and billets I see every day on the military installations I work on that it would take a separate post to get into the details of it. Civilian federal jobs on military installations have become an overburdening monster that must be stopped.

Now I see the media attempting to use the military member as an emotional weapon in the budget debate. What a nauseous viewing that is. I have three words for the media if asked how I feel about not receiving a paycheck, "SHUT IT DOWN!!!"

Whatever it takes to stop the bullying from the left on the right, who seems always willing to curl up in the fetal position in a corner and give in. I will happily sacrifice a paycheck or two if it will cause the republicans' testicles to drop and them to "man up" and stand their ground on the principles that the American people elected them for!!

Cut 60 billion??? I say cut 600 billion and then maybe I'll take you clowns seriously. After all, with a 600 billion cut we would still be spending more than we are bringing in. My bank informs me that spending more than I make is frowned upon.

Where Are You Ronald Reagan? The Belly Has Taken Command of the Head!!

I have to be honest. I haven't been feeling the creative juices this last week. Thus, I haven't written anything in almost a week. I sat down this morning looking for a little inspiration. As is often the case, I needed to look no further than the words of Ronald Reagan. If you scan through his speeches and writings, it is apparent that he was able to see the socialized nation we were becoming. His famous speech in 1964 to the Republican National Convention gave us great insight to his wisdom and his knowledge that we were already headed down the road to socialism. What I found this morning in one of my favorite books, "The Common Sense of an Uncommon Man" by Michael Reagan, was a quote from an address he made at the Eisenhower College in 1969. In this address, he described the parallels between the rise and fall of the Roman Empire and our own plight as a nation. He spoke of how the Roman Empire declined and collapsed in it's third century, but showed warning signs of it's demise late in the second century. This speech was given nearing the end of our second century as a nation (1969) and Reagan mentioned that, stating:

"It has been pointed out that the days of democracy are numbered once the belly takes command of the head. When the less affluent feel the urge to break a commandment and begin to covet that which their more affluent neighbors possess, they are tempted to use their votes to obtain instant satisfaction. Then equal opportunity at the starting line becomes an extended guarantee of at least a tie at the finish line. Under the euphemism "the greatest good for the greatest number," we destroy a system which has accomplished just that and move toward the managed economy which strangles freedom and mortgages generations yet to come."

We were blessed enough to slow this march toward socialism down for eight years under President Reagan's tutelage. Unfortunately, under a constant barrage of propaganda from the statist liberal politicians and the main stream media, The lazy population of bums (yeah, I said it) who believe the government is responsible to take care of their every want and need is feeling more entitled to hard-working Americans money than ever.

Our current Commander in Chief is more than happy to pour gasoline on the fire as well. He has basically started his own war on every successful inch of the private sector in this nation. We are getting ready to experience the largest tax increase in our nations history next year. Meanwhile, the money from your pockets will continue to bail out banks and other businesses that are deemed "too big to fail" so that the government can gain influence over the private sector. Our money will continue to be spent on extending, extending, and E-X-T-E-N-D-I-N-G some more, unemployment benefits because, as Nancy Pelosi said, unemployment benefits "creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name." Yes!! She said that, and of course, she will get yet another pass from the state-run media. In fact, as often as Nancy Pelosi releases completely illogical stupidity into the air, I am guessing they laminated her a permanent "pass" that she keeps around her neck to show them, when necessary.

I suppose the administration must make such moves to please the people who elected "spread the wealth" Obama and celebrated his election with educated phrases such as,

"I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, If I help him, he's gonna help me." --Peggy Joseph--

I honestly don't know why so many people make fun of Ms. Joseph. She was pretty accurate in summing up exactly what he has; in fact, done to this point.

Could you imagine what President Reagan would have said about the lines of citizens in Detroit waiting for "Obama Money"??? They don't even know where the money comes from!!! Really!!! Seriously!!! If we continue at this pace they most assuredly will know where the money comes from, because the working class will shrink to the point that the lazy bums will outnumber them. One day they will go to pick up their free "Obama Money" and find that the free-ride has ended. That is how socialism ends, by the way. We need merely look to the past to see how this story ends.

Yes, President Reagan, the belly has taken command of the head and it is not a pretty sight. I pray you are unable to see what is taking place down here to our once great nation. You worked so hard throughout the duration of your life to prevent just such an occurrence. You do not need to feel the pain of our demise.

Move Along Folks…Nothing To See Here

As we close in on our Independence Day, it is becoming increasingly clear that our independence and sovereignty are under direct attack. Almost every day there is a new episode of violence on our nations borders. As I write this article, the top story in the news is a shootout between rival cartels on the Mexico-Arizona border.

In the last month or so we have seen incident after incident, story after story, detailing exactly how “open” our borders truly are, and the type of violent individuals who roam freely across it. There are now actually signs in Arizona which identify areas within the state that U.S. citizens are not supposed to travel in, as they are areas which are basically controlled by Mexican drug cartels.

Yet, the Obama administration and their liberal cohorts continue to tell the American people that there isn’t a problem. Congressman Pete Stark made a statement that only our out-of-touch, elected bourgeoisie could make this week when he claimed that the borders were secure. Good ole Pete went further when he decided to mock a Minuteman in the audience by asking him, “who you gonna kill today?” Stark went on to gaffe-off a question about why the border isn’t secure by claiming, “We can't get enough Minutemen armed we'd like to get them armed so that they would stop shooting people.” This statement details Starks extreme lack of intelligence in regards to the Minutemen, who are a group of citizens who voluntarily patrol the southern border of the United States to spot illegal aliens crossing and report it to border patrol agents. The Minutemen do not go armed, by the way, or even attempt to confront illegal aliens they observe crossing the border.

This is just another sterling example of liberals making uneducated statements on subjects they obviously know little about. Why let a little thing like fact finding or intelligence gathering get in the way of toeing the party line? This is no different than President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, all going on the record against Arizona SB 1070, before they had read the lengthy 10 PAGE DOCUMENT! See, they have to be against it, regardless of any facts because deep down in places no liberals like to admit, they are for open borders. SHHHHH!!! Don’t tell anyone…they know that 70% of the nation is in support of the Arizona bill, and against an open border policy, so they want to keep this under wraps, passing bills in the middle of the night and holiday weekends, counting on our short term memories to allow their re-elections.

They know that long term, the more poor, uneducated, government-dependent citizens they can get into our nation, the more votes they will be able to get in each election. They need to find more votes these days since their last vote-acquiring plan involving taxpayer funded ACORN registering fraudulent, deceased, and sometimes even cartoon characters to vote was discovered.

Wow!!! Only 21 dead in border violence this morning. Maybe Pete Stark and Janet Napolitano are right. No problem down here in Arizona. Nothing to see here folks.

Leave Joe Alone, He Is Merely Representing the Administration’s True View

You have to love this guy. Who wouldn’t want to be a reporter able to follow him around on a daily basis? This weekend he called a custard shop manager a “smart ass” for asking him to lower taxes, but this is just one of a long line of brilliant moves by our VP. Let’s reminisce a little on Joe’s greatest hits:

To think the liberals used to make fun of Dan Quayle’s “potatoe” spelling makes this even more humorous. Getting back to the “Custard Caper”…

Since current polls reveal that 64% of Americans believe taxes need to be lowered, I suppose Loose Lips Joe is calling a large majority of the nation smartasses. Of course this is nothing new. When is the last time the Obama administration supported anything that was additionally supported by a majority of Americans? Since being elected this administration has regularly strong-armed the majority of Americans and forced them to accept the policies formulated by a radical leftist fringe element which rarely tops 20% of Americans support.

The administration has filed a suit against the state of Arizona for their illegal immigration bill; a bill supported by a large majority of Arizonans and the nation as a whole.

The administration force-fed the healthcare reform legislation in spite of the fact that a majority of Americans opposed it. Currently, 55% of Americans support repeal of this bill.

In spite of the spill in the Gulf, 58% of Americans support more off-shore oil drilling. The administration has used the disaster as a catalyst to stop the drilling.

Mortgage bailouts??? Twenty-three percent (23%) of Adults say if someone cannot afford to pay their increased mortgage payments, it's better for the government to assist them in making those payments. A majority (62%) believe it's better for the person to sell their home and move into a less expensive one. King Nanny State Supporter Obama loves to bail everyone out.

The Obama presidency has contradicted the Constitution as well as the wishes of mainstream Americans on so many occasions since being elected that nearly half of Americans now see the government as a threat to individual rights rather than a protector of those rights. This may be the most disturbing poll result of all.

By now Obama has to know his days are numbered and it is now just a matter of how much destruction and carnage he can cause before he and his congressional majority are voted away. I pray we still have some semblance of a nation when all is said and done.

Alex Jones is a Fat Disgusting Pig Who Needs Medication

I am used to hearing this type of banter from the left. So many leftists will come right out and say it these days. They look at members of the United States Military as individuals with lower intelligence than them. They see us as citizens who could not find success in other ways, and settled on the military as a fall-back option. Here is just a small example of the statists view that we, the military members, do not offer an educated opinion on conflict and do not have enough intelligence to know the wise things they do.



How pompous can you be? That's just one extreme example, right? They don't really feel that way. Here's another...

Sadly, this is nothing surprising or new. Anyone who pays attention knows that the liberals possess a certain disdain for the military and their mission in our Republic. What is becoming a growing concern is the new fringe element which attempts to cozy themselves up with the conservatives, and espouses the same lack of respect for the military and their valiant sacrifices.

This new element is none other than the 9/11 "Truthers" led by supreme nutjob Alex Jones. All of these certified tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theory schizo's believe that all of the conflicts our nation has been involved in are created by some mysterious wealthy bourgeousie who benefit financially from it. They go a step further than merely calling the military uneducated. They call us naive and belittle every brave conflict we have undertaken as a manufactured war by the wealthy upper class of both parties.



How does anyone actually listen to this guy? He is merely making money out of scaring the entire population with self-created fairy tales, and the military is stupid?? The loonies that believe this fat lazy bum who does this because he can't handle a real job should really ask their doctor about mental illness meds.



This is like listening to "Coast To Coast" radio. We used to have nuts like this approach our gate from time to time in Twentynine Palms, CA when I was stationed there. They would claim we were hiding aliens in one of our hangars or something similar. They were hilarious!! Now, thanks to this moron they're mainstream.

We're approaching another Memorial Day weekend and fewer people will honor what our military does thanks to the idiots shown above. It saddens me that the bravest and the smartest that I have met over my last 16 years in the military are making the ultimate sacrifice every day so that these "wastes of oxygen" can daily express such stupidity. Alex Jones would never say what he said in the video to a Marine's face...trust me!

Those Pesky Miranda Warnings

Miranda Rights warnings...they are all the news this week, as Attorney General Eric Holder stated on the weekend Obama administration propaganda shows that he is open to modifying when the warnings are required. The question seems to be centered around these questions: A) Should we give foreign terrorists a Miranda Warning? B) Should we give a U.S. citizen Miranda warnings if they have been deemed a "terrorist?" C) When should law enforcement officials be required to give Miranda Warnings?

Disturbingly, I have heard a lot of commentary from the conservative crowd that immediately provided a blanket answer to the debated questions. Their minds still fresh with the anger of the Obama administration ordering law enforcement officials to Mirandize captured terrorists last year, upon taking office. Allow me to explain my position on these questions and hopefully prevent some from thinking too much on an emotional level regarding these matters.

First a little background. I am a U.S. Marine, but I am also a law enforcement official in the U.S.M.C. so I have a bit of experience regarding Miranda rights, which differ slightly from the Article 31 rights that we use in the military; nonetheless, are in place for the same purpose.

Okay, let's begin with question "C"...I know, an organized person would have started with question "A" and gone in order...I gues you now know something more else about my personality. When do we read Miranda warnings? Without getting into a big legal discussion and boring the pants off of the 30 or so people (I don't know if you know this about me, but I'm kind of a big deal) who read my blog, I will briefly explain:

Miranda rights are required by law enforcement if they are going to ask incriminating questions of a person they suspect of committing a crime who also is in custody. If I wanted to go legal mumbo jumbo I could go on about the specific definitions of "incriminating" "suspect" and especially "custody" but I enjoy my 30 or so readers and wouldn't do that to you, so let's move on.

Many would ask why then, could authorities question our Times Square bombing suspect for multiple hours without advising him? There is a "public safety" clause which was added in 1984 (I think) that allowed for law enforcement officials to question suspects if there was an immediate danger and they could show that the immediate questioning was required for public safety; i.e., a bomb was found in a building and a suspect was identified. Law enforcement officials can question the suspect immediately regarding any other bombs that may be in the building and any other questions necessary to prevent harm to society without stopping and advising the suspect of their rights. So, for the ACLU and any other radical fringe leftist organization that wants to come to the aid of Faisal Shahzad and state that his rights were violated, you are wrong. Eric Holder is correct on his statements from Sunday.

Now to the other two questions, which; unfortunately, many conservatives are bleeding together and referring to as if they are the same. This can happen when people think emotionally instead of logically...we've all been there.

A) Should we give foreign terrorists a Miranda Warning?

HELL NO!!! Any questions??? Seriously, Miranda rights fall under the 5th amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. A foreign individual does not rate the rights of a document drafted by our nation if he/she is not a member of our nation. It's really not that difficult.

B) Should we give a U.S. citizen Miranda warnings if they have been deemed a "terrorist?"

Now here is where it gets interesting. Many are merely blanketing these questions with an overall, emotionally driven opinion that says HELL NO!!! Terrorists don't deserve Miranda rights!! The problem with that answer regarding this question is it is simply incorrect. Any U.S. citizen, whether they be charged with a terrorist act or not, has constitutional rights, which the government has no right to infringe upon. Liberals love when they can get the conservatives thinking on an emotional plane instead of a logical one. Liberals live on an emotional plane and every misguided regulation or bill they introduce is fueled by getting Americans to view it from emotional standpoint. You need look no further than the healthcare debacle from last year. They, rather than debate the logical issues and problems with the bill, attempted to cover them up with emotional stories about little Timmy who suffers from a rare form of some crazy disease, who lives his life in pain every day because his parents can't afford healthcare. The saddest part of that was they made up a large number of the stories. Back to the point.

If there is one thing conservatives must stick to, in order to be successful, they must stay strictly within the confines of the Constitution. By stating that you don't think any terrorist should be allowed their Miranda rights, you are (1) violating the Constitution, and (2) opening a very scary new door which would give the government even more power over your daily life.

I don't know very many people who trust the government with much of anything anymore. Why would we trust them on this one? Anything coming from this administration that sounds good on the surface needs to be examined in depth. It doesn't take much of an investigation of this to see a possible motive for it.

If we remove the requirement for the government to Mirandize a U.S. citizen suspected of terrorism, it may look like a good idea on the surface, but we have to dig a little deeper. Tell me this, who defines "terrorist" or "terrorism"? What is to prevent the administration from later passing an executive order to the effect that any protests or anti-administration rhetoric will be deemed "terrorism"? Now the Tea Party would be a terrorist organization. You don't think that's possible. Obama is already hinting at tightening the grip on free speech in this nation. He just spoke this weekend about the problem with too much information being available to people these days. This, at the same time as his administration is attempting to regulate the internet and talk radio. There are clues everywhere when we stop watching stupid TLC television shows that talk about strange addictions like girls who are addicted to tanning beds or eating chalk (thanks for the material on that one Sharon from The Liberal Heretic) , and get involved in where our nation is headed.

Yes, that's right...I am not lauding the administration today for allegedly moving more to the "right" on terrorists rights because I see their motive in this, and it is certainly not become more "moderate." Call me cynical.

Hispanic Caucus Helps to Prove Joe Wilson's Accusation...Obama Lied

Follow along with me everyone. It shouldn't be hard. We will be travelling along a trail of logic and common sense...liberals, feel free to find another article, say at Huffington Post, which you will be able to keep up with.

Last week President Obama gave a speech to Congress. In it, he claimed that illegal immigrants would not be included in the healthcare reform bill, and that those who claim that they are were fear-mongering and being dishonest. Of course everyone knows now the infamous words from Joe Wilson, "You Lie!" An entire week goes by which sees Wilson getting punished for daring to call the President a liar.

The President, a week later, announces that he seeks to have the wording in the healthcare bill which would bar illegal immigrants from receiving healthcare under the new plan. Now, all of a sudden, the hispanic caucus is outraged, and are considering no longer supporting the bill.

Am I going crazy here, or does that pretty much say that, at least in the congressional hispanic caucus' eye, the bill, as it stood before, would have provided healthcare for illegal immigrants? And if I further connect the dots, wouldn't that, at least in the minds of the hispanic caucus, support that Joe Wilson was telling the truth, as it was spoken, on that date?

Seriously, Joe Wilson is now officially owed an apology from President Obama, Jimmy (last worst president) Carter, and anyone in Congress who voted to censure him yesterday...which included the below listed RINO's. If I were Joe, I wouldn't hold my breath.

For those who may have missed it last night, Rep. Joe Wilson had the audacity to tell the truth in the Capitol Building last night. I know, this is rather shocking to hear that the truth might actually still be spoken in those chambers from time to time. Even more shocking is the outburst was directed at the almighty President Obama, who, at that very moment, was; in fact, lying to everyone who was listening to his address.

I have included the video, not so much so you can hear the outburst, but what I found to be the most entertaining in this clip, is the reaction of Nancy Pelosi. Watch how she reacts after the comment is made. She gets this shocked, "how dare anyone speak ill of the almighty Obama" look on her face, and then continues to stare in that direction for quite some time, as if to identify who it was, so they might be the first to be sent to the newly built internment camps. In all seriousness, it was hard to watch any portion of this speech, as it makes me incredibly nauseous to see Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all in one picture at the same time. It's like the the "Perfect Storm" of radical statists, and it makes me reach for the pepto.
