Ron Paul Will Never Be The Answer

I can already smell the bong resin emanating from the radical marijuana legalization crowd that supports Ron Paul to the point of being cult-like, breathing down fire upon my comments section. You would have thought I punched the pope at Christmas mass after my last article on Ron Paul:

I feel very strongly that Ron Paul is wrong for our country for a variety of reasons, and I am tired of seeing a small, fringe element attacking anyone who doesn't agree that Paul is the greatest thing since George Washington to grace this nation.

Let me first start by giving credit where credit is due. Ron Paul deserves accolades for his stand against the federal reserve. I agree with him on some of his economic ideas and his recent appointment as Chairman of the U.S. House Domestic Monetary Policy Subcommittee is a great position for him. This is where Mr. Paul needs to concentrate his efforts, as he seems to be quite knowledgeable in this area.

Where Paul goes astray is in the subject of foreign policy. Ron Paul is an isolationist...oh, wait...sorry Paulites...what have you changed that term to?? That's right, he is a "non-interventionalist" according to his supporters. This approach to foreign affairs is naive at best, and catastrophic at worst. Oh wait...what is that I hear??? I can hear the chants of "warmonger" and "neocon" already arriving at the front door of my comments section. One thing Paulites are is predictable. If you criticize Paul's foreign policy ideas you are sure to have these names hurled in your general direction early and often.

Ron Paul was against the Iraq war. After all, it is really none of our business if a country is building weapons of mass destruction to terrorize other nations according to Paul...and yes, folks, there were WMD's:

Ron Paul has gone so far to say that we (USA) are to blame for the unprovoked 9/11 attacks, aligning himself with the anti-war fringe leftists.

Paul has stated quite clearly that he would close down all U.S bases in foreign countries and bring all of our military home within our borders in order to defend them. Paul is against what he perceives to be our meddling in others affairs. Imagine what the world would be like if we hadn't meddled in Europe's affairs with Hitler. What Paul does not wish to take into account is that we have interests which stretch outside of our borders. We cannot just withdraw to our own borders and ignore the rest of the worlds plight. As long as their is evil in the world we will have a moral obligation to do something about it. I would certainly not stand in my front yard and watch my neighbor beat the snot out of his wife next door under the justification that it is not my business.

Paul thinks we should just leave radical islam alone and they, in turn, will leave us alone. This sounds all good and well in pot-smoking hippieland, where the most intelligent words are generally, "I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob." Unfortunately that is not the reality of our world, and to take a foreign policy approach under the assumption that it is will be destructive to our nation. Do you think these kind muslims are planning on leaving us alone?

Additionally, Ron Paul has come out in support of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Apparently, Mr. Paul thinks it is just peachy that someone post our classified documents for all the world to see. Apparently Mr. Paul doesn't see the threat to national security that this poses at all. He either doesn't understand or doesn't care that this puts the lives of our servicemembers at a greater risk every day. This is not the type of judgment we need in the oval office.

Now let's explore some of the more, shall we say, questionable behaviors of Ron Paul. Ron Paul has allied and surrounded himself with some very disturbing characters. The large majority of "truther" conspiracy theorists, who believe our own government is responsible for the 9/11 attacks, support Ron Paul. Paul has gone out of his way to encourage these nuts, and only when directly pressured by the media during the 2008 campaign, gave a half-hearted denial of espousing the theory himself.

Ron Paul supports the legalization of marijuana and has drawn a large following of young, smelly, stoned followers who support his every idea like mindless zombies, in the hopes that he will bring about their utopia, a nation where the sticky-icky grows like the sycamore.

More disturbingly, Ron Paul cozies himself up to the King of Conspiracy theories, Alex Jones. Ron Paul goes on his show regularly and does a wonderful job of giving credibility to this fat, schizophrenic bag of wind. One has to ask oneself, if a person really wanted to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate, would they go on this show???

Alex Jones is a complete nutjob, who is the leader of the 9/11 truthers as well as just about any conspiracy theory one could concoct. I have written about him before

and although he is regularly acting like a complete psychotic fool, Ron Paul seems to be best friends with the guy. Does anyone still think who a person hangs out with doesn't give you a picture of what they are like?? I think Obama has proven that theory to be fact with the vast array of marxists and criminals that he has surrounded himself with.

So we have Ron Paul...a man who's major following consists of drug users, anti-war leftists, truthers, and conspiracy-laden schizophrenics. They should call it the Ron Paul Circus, not Revolution. Yeah, I said it Paulbots!! It's my opinion and I am entitled to least until the government steals my thoughts, and sends the secret security force to cart me off to the FEMA camps in the middle of the night.

Presidents Day

Today is Presidents Day and as such, it is fitting to celebrate the wisdom of some of our finest patriots, who helped to create and/or maintain this wonderful Republic we call The United States of America.

There may have been no man more directly responsible for the formation of our great nation than George Washington. Washington played a major role in the drafting of The Declaration of Independence and was unanimously selected as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. Washington accepted this commission and asked that he not receive a salary for his service, only that at the conclusion of the war, his expenses be paid. Imagine a leader today being that selfless.

Near the close of the Revolutionary War, the Continental Army met to discuss a possible insurrection against the Congress of our infant nation. The soldiers had not received pay and benefits as they had been promised and were out of patience. Washington addressed the men and was able to successfully calm them down and thus protect the fledgling nation from an early internal demise. That is leadership, my friends!

It cannot be overstated how important a good leader can be. Many do not believe the position of President of The United States to be that important to our system of government, which specifically limits power to any one entity. I, for one, could not disagree more. I speak not in regards to his power within the three branches of government, which contrary to Senator Charles Schumer's belief, are not the House, the Senate, and the President . I speak in the sense of his direct effect on the emotions and morale of the American people. When tragedy befalls our nation, the nation looks to the President to explain what we are going to do as a nation to overcome it. He is expected to demonstrate poise, confidence, and compassion. His ability to demonstrate these behaviors appropriately has a direct effect on how successfully our nation navigates through difficulties.

There is no better example of this executed horribly and successfully than in two below presidential addresses:

Feeling confident in our nation after watching this?? I can't watch more than two minutes without wanting to wave a white flag.

How about this??

One clearly inspires confidence in the nation's citizens and one most certainly does not.

On this Presidents Day it is my prayer that we might find a President that strengthens and inspires this nation back to the greatness we once enjoyed, not so long ago. The current one seems intent on replacing our democratic republic with socialism, which is certainly not what our founding fathers and early Presidents had in mind.

I end this with a quote from another great President:

"Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm."

A Brief History of the Public Sector Unions That Are Bleeding America Dry With the Full Support of the Democrat Party

This is an amazing article which explains unions in such a simple manner, even a liberal can understand it:

Throughout American history -- and as recently as the 1950s -- there were no unions for government workers. Public-sector employees were expected to earn a bit less than their private-sector equivalents. The reasons they did so included an interest in public service, job security and reasonable benefits.

But that changed in the late fifties with New York City Mayor Robert Wagner's cynical appeal to the votes of city workers. He signed an executive order authorizing them to unionize, and soon other local and state Democrat legislators around the country followed his lead.

These efforts culminated in 1962, when President John F. Kennedy granted federal employees the right to collectively bargain. Since then, public sector union membership has skyrocketed while, in the private sector, unions have fallen out of favor.

In 2009, private sector union members were outnumbered for the first time by their public sector counterparts.

The historical basis of unions revolved around workers receiving a reasonable share of a company's profits. But that tenet is nonsensical when applied to public service. Governments don't make profits; they simply assess taxes.

The aims of public sector unions conflict directly with the interests of taxpayers.

And because it has been exceedingly hard to fight public sector unions, the salaries and benefits of public employees have skyrocketed in recent years. Since the election of Barack Obama, the number of federal employees making over $150,000 a year has more than doubled to over 10,000.

In 2009 government salaries jumped 2.4%, approximately twice the increase earned by private sector employees. In fact, the average salary of a federal worker is now $71,000, about $22,000 more than the average private sector employee.

Worst of all, public sector unions have negotiated pension plans that are proving financially untenable. Many allow workers to retire at age 55 at around their full salary in their final years of employment. These pensions often include inflation adjustments as well as lifetime free health care.

These plans are so outrageous that state retirement systems, for example, are currently underfunded by about a trillion dollars.

So how have public sector unions achieved these amazing results? The answer is hundreds of millions of dollars, the approximate amount that unions have contributed to federal campaigns since 1990. Almost every dollar went to Democrats or Democrat causes. In the 2008 election alone, some estimates put public sector union contributions to Democrats at $60 million.

These unions are also astroturfing for Democrats, providing slush funds to help liberal causes. An example is, a faux populist website designed to discredit TEA Party activists.

The Democrats' health care bill, the 'Employee Free Choice Act' and the $800+ billion stimulus bill all contained payoffs to public sector unions. In fact, while the private sector has shed 7,000,000 jobs since the recession began, the number of public sector jobs has risen every month.

Public sector unions are killing our economic system and the American taxpayer. The debt unleashed by their outrageous benefits plans simply cannot be paid. The union bosses have lied to their members about lifetime benefits and they have betrayed the American people. Public sector unions must be disbanded and outlawed before our country resembles Greece, Spain and other European countries that are teetering on the brink of destruction, thanks to unions just like ours.

The Absolute, Unbelievable And Stunning Stupidity Of Anti-Semitic Jews

Below is an article written by Alicia Colon for the Irish Examinier:

For many years my husband and I were friends with an Egyptian man, Ali, who never failed to bring back a wonderful souvenir from his country on his return to the states. He was kind and generous but it was not until after September 11, 2001 did we discover how ingrained was his antipathy to Israel. Ali worked with my husband and during the chaotic months that followed the attacks he appeared to be as much in shock as the rest of us yet his explanation for the attacks was typical among many in the Arab community. "You know," he said, "the United States really has to rethink its support of Israel." What I always find shocking, however, is that this same absurd sentiment is being repeated by some Jewish rabbis and liberal commentators.

In 2007, I wrote a column condemning Mayor Bloomberg's proposed Arab language public school whose designated principal, Dhabah Almontaser had also blamed the attacks on U.S. foreign policy. She was quoted as saying that the 9/11 attack "can have been triggered by the way the USA breaks its promises with countries across the world, especially in the Middle East, and the fact that it has not been a fair mediator."

One of the first calls I received at the New York Sun was from a Rabbi who said he had worked with Ms. Almontaser and told me she "is a wonderful woman." When I told him what she had said about 9/11, he told me he agreed with her. "Are you saying that 9/11 was our fault?" I asked him. He said that in some ways it was because of our ties with Israel. My first thought was, "so much for that theory that Jews are smarter than any other group."

There have been recent studies claiming that Ashkenazi Jews have the highest IQ of any ethnic group for which there's reliable data, perhaps as much as a full standard deviation above the general European average. That theory obviously is flawed if we judge by the number of Jews who still don't know how important Israel is to this country and how dangerous it is to underestimate the threat by Islamic fundamentalism.

When Iran's president Ahmadinejad was coming to New York, most sane people objected to his visit and yet one group released a statement welcoming him. It read, "It has been our honor and privilege to meet with President Ahmadinejad ... we have found the Iranian President to be a deeply religious man, dedicated to a peaceful world, based on mutual respect, fairness and dialogue. Out of great respect to the Iranian Nation and their leadership we proudly welcome the Honorable President Ahmadinejad to New York, WELCOME!"

Who could have said this? Why the religious leader who said this was, Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss of Neturei Karta which is a vehemently anti-Zionist group with roots in Satmar and other like-minded hasidic groups and in ultra-orthodox Judaism. I had never heard of this sect but apparently this cult believes that Israel is not a legitimate nation until the Messiah comes. So they welcome a man who hates Jews and wants to destroy Israel.

With all the turmoil in Egypt it's distressing to hear the mainstream media dismiss the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood as merely a secular society. Wishful thinking perhaps but the truth is far more frightening. Many Iranian dissidents are issuing warnings to Egyptians and reminding them what happened to their own country when the Shah was deposed. Their loathing for President Carter is monumental because he did nothing to prevent the mullahs from turning their country into a theocracy. They see the Muslim Brotherhood poised to take over Egypt. They call President Carter's actions during this period the "worst case of treason, disloyalty and betrayal in history of the Iranian people". Their case is stated plainly on the website

I cringe when I hear a supposedly intelligent political figure or journalist dismiss the warnings against the Muslim Brotherhood as right wing paranoia. If they did their homework they'd know that this organization promotes Sharia as the rule of law. The best word to describe this group is sneaky. On the surface they preach peace and community good will (The Ground Zero mosque imam was associated with this group) and ingratiate themselves by pretending they are secular but their ultimate goal is to establish a caliphate in this country.

Last July, Robert Spencer wrote an article in that warned about the group's goal in Egypt. He wrote, "The Islamic supremacist group known as the Muslim Brotherhood, which is dedicated, according to a captured internal document, to eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, has its best chance in years to take power in Egypt, with implications for the Middle East and beyond." Remember this was written last year.

The problems with militant Islam have been around since its creation. When Thomas Jefferson was ambassador to France he met with a Muslim ambassador to discuss a peace treaty and came away with the reason for the Muslim's hostility towards America. He wrote: "...that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise."

In a letter written in 1843, historian Alex de Tocqueville wrote: "I studied the Koran a great deal. I came away from that study with the conviction there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad. So far as I can see, it is the principal cause of the decadence so visible today in the Muslim world and, though less absurd than the polytheism of old, its social and political tendencies are in my opinion to be feared, and I therefore regard it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress in relation to paganism itself."

Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Europe and the Middle East and it is being called the new anti-Semitism because it is Jew hatred targeted at the State of Israel and is practiced by noted academics. Noam Chomsky, the darling of liberals, has been called the "intellectual godfather" of the anti-Israel campaign by Alan Dershowitz. Chomsky has called for the abolition of Israel and he's not the only Jew who likens Israel as evil as apartheid South Africa.

Here's the real deal, Mr. Intellectual. Israel is a tiny country surrounded by nations determined to wipe it off the face of the earth. Given the opportunity they'd wipe you out first. If you can't understand that you're not as bright as you think.

Suhail Khan...Member of American Conservative Union Board of Directors...Muslim Terrorist

Anyone still have their heads in the sand and think this is just a game? Radical Islam is not going away. They will not rest until they have destroyed our way of life. David Horowitz gave a wonderful address at CPAC that was not so much of a pep rally type speech as it was a wake-up call for Americans to remain vigilant. Noted in his speech was evidence seized by the FBI in the Holy Land Foundation raid of 2001.

an excerpt from Mr. Horowitz's speech:

"The Muslim Brotherhood, which is the fountainhead of political Islam and has spawned 12 terrorist armies including al-Qaeda and Hamas is a political force in Egypt that is also willing to participate in elections and in the civil institutions of society. The Holy Land Foundation, a creation of the Muslim Brotherhood was the largest Islamic charity in America until it was raided by the FBI and put on trial in Texas for funding Hamas. One of the documents seized in a concealed basement at the Foundation headquarters and put into evidence by the FBI was the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan for America. The stated goal of this plan was to “destroy the American civilization.”

The plan called for building a secret leadership in America and for the creation of a series of Brotherhood front groups that would appear to be participants in America’s democracy until the time came when and where force would be necessary to accomplish the Brotherhood’s goals."

This is going on as we speak...within our own allegedly conservative groups. Suhail Khan is a member of The American Conservative Union's Board of Directors, thanks to Grover Norquist.

Please take the time to listen to Mr. Horowitz's entire address (above), as he explains Suhail Khan and his terrorist affiliations in great detail. Why is this man allowed to remain on a board with the word "conservative" in the title. This is evidence that many high profile conservatives have their heads stuck in the sand regarding the real threat of radical Islam to our nation. It is up to "We The People" to combat these infiltrations which seek to destroy our society and our republic. Again I say, WAKE UP!!!!

Afghan to be Executed for Conversion to Christianity

If this is the nation we are rebuilding/propping up, why are we allowing this to take place? What is the point of my military brothers and sisters placing their life on the line each day to protect this type of Christian persecution and murder? If this is what we are willing to allow th Afghan nation to do, we need to pull our honorable men and women out of this third world hellhole, YESTERDAY!!

Embrace Islam or face gallows: Afghan worker told

London, Feb 7 (IANS) An Afghan Red Cross activist, who had embraced Christanity, faces death sentence handed down by a court in Afghanistan.

Physiotherapist Said Musa, 45, will be executed within three days, the Daily Mail reported Monday.

Musa, who has been held for eight months in a Kabul prison, claims he has been tortured and sexually abused by inmates and guards.

Musa worked with the Red Cross for 15 years. He lost his left leg in a landmine explosion in the 1990s and was last helping to treat other amputees in the war-ravaged country.

The activist said he was visited in prison by a judge who told him he would be hanged within days unless he converted back to Islam.

But he remains defiant and says he was willing to die for his faith.

'My body is theirs to do what they want with. Only God can decide if my spirit goes to hell,' he was quoted as saying.

The report said lawyers have refused to pursue his case in court after receiving death threats.

He was arrested in May last year as he tried to seek asylum at the German embassy following a crackdown on Christians within Afghanistan. Musa was arrested after a television channel showed western men baptising Afghans during secret ceremonies.
