Aww! They're Going To Sit Together. Symbolism is Stupid!!

I'm not sure if you caught it in the title, but I really hate symbolism.

I mean seriously, do they think the American people are going to see this pointless gesture as an actual "mending of the fences." Are John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi going to be seen walking arm in arm each day to and from Capitol Hill?? Will there be compromise amongst lawmakers on passing legislation? I, for one, sure hope not!!! That's not what the American people elected the new Congress for. November's election was a statement by the American people that we wanted the legislating away of our freedoms to stop!! We want bills like the 3000 page unconstitutional Obamacare legislation to end. We want the out of control spending of our grandchildren's money to be squashed!!

This is obviously a ploy by liberals in the hopes that the newly elected Congress will do just that, compromise. I pray they will remember why they were elected and represent the people of America who elected them. I don't recall much compromise in the voices of the liberals when Obama was elected and they owned a filibuster-proof majority. Much needs to be done to repair the extreme damage that has been done to the Republic in the last two years. I pray our new Congress has the fortitude to do it.

On a lighter note, I am hearing disturbing news that many are planning on playing drinking games during the State of the Union address tonight. Apparently, President Obama is going insult the intelligence of Americans by using the word "investing" to disguise the unpopular word he really means, "spending." I implore conservatives to not play this game, as I fear thousands could end up in emergency rooms tonight with alcohol poisoning.

REALLY??? SERIOUSLY NANCY??? So Nancy believes everyone who has a differing opinion from hers should be investigated??

I'm game if she's game. I'll agree on the investigation of any groups funding opposition to the mosque if she'll agree on an investigation of every group funding the building of the mosque. Let's see who comes out cleaner in those two independent investigations, Nancy!! Also, while we're investigating everyone how about we investigate all the frivolous, unnecessary expenditures and trips you've demanded and made in military aircraft over the years, Nancy.

One should probably make sure their own house is clean before they start demanding investigations into everyone else's affairs. Liberal hypocrites!!!

Where Are You Ronald Reagan? The Belly Has Taken Command of the Head!!

I have to be honest. I haven't been feeling the creative juices this last week. Thus, I haven't written anything in almost a week. I sat down this morning looking for a little inspiration. As is often the case, I needed to look no further than the words of Ronald Reagan. If you scan through his speeches and writings, it is apparent that he was able to see the socialized nation we were becoming. His famous speech in 1964 to the Republican National Convention gave us great insight to his wisdom and his knowledge that we were already headed down the road to socialism. What I found this morning in one of my favorite books, "The Common Sense of an Uncommon Man" by Michael Reagan, was a quote from an address he made at the Eisenhower College in 1969. In this address, he described the parallels between the rise and fall of the Roman Empire and our own plight as a nation. He spoke of how the Roman Empire declined and collapsed in it's third century, but showed warning signs of it's demise late in the second century. This speech was given nearing the end of our second century as a nation (1969) and Reagan mentioned that, stating:

"It has been pointed out that the days of democracy are numbered once the belly takes command of the head. When the less affluent feel the urge to break a commandment and begin to covet that which their more affluent neighbors possess, they are tempted to use their votes to obtain instant satisfaction. Then equal opportunity at the starting line becomes an extended guarantee of at least a tie at the finish line. Under the euphemism "the greatest good for the greatest number," we destroy a system which has accomplished just that and move toward the managed economy which strangles freedom and mortgages generations yet to come."

We were blessed enough to slow this march toward socialism down for eight years under President Reagan's tutelage. Unfortunately, under a constant barrage of propaganda from the statist liberal politicians and the main stream media, The lazy population of bums (yeah, I said it) who believe the government is responsible to take care of their every want and need is feeling more entitled to hard-working Americans money than ever.

Our current Commander in Chief is more than happy to pour gasoline on the fire as well. He has basically started his own war on every successful inch of the private sector in this nation. We are getting ready to experience the largest tax increase in our nations history next year. Meanwhile, the money from your pockets will continue to bail out banks and other businesses that are deemed "too big to fail" so that the government can gain influence over the private sector. Our money will continue to be spent on extending, extending, and E-X-T-E-N-D-I-N-G some more, unemployment benefits because, as Nancy Pelosi said, unemployment benefits "creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name." Yes!! She said that, and of course, she will get yet another pass from the state-run media. In fact, as often as Nancy Pelosi releases completely illogical stupidity into the air, I am guessing they laminated her a permanent "pass" that she keeps around her neck to show them, when necessary.

I suppose the administration must make such moves to please the people who elected "spread the wealth" Obama and celebrated his election with educated phrases such as,

"I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, If I help him, he's gonna help me." --Peggy Joseph--

I honestly don't know why so many people make fun of Ms. Joseph. She was pretty accurate in summing up exactly what he has; in fact, done to this point.

Could you imagine what President Reagan would have said about the lines of citizens in Detroit waiting for "Obama Money"??? They don't even know where the money comes from!!! Really!!! Seriously!!! If we continue at this pace they most assuredly will know where the money comes from, because the working class will shrink to the point that the lazy bums will outnumber them. One day they will go to pick up their free "Obama Money" and find that the free-ride has ended. That is how socialism ends, by the way. We need merely look to the past to see how this story ends.

Yes, President Reagan, the belly has taken command of the head and it is not a pretty sight. I pray you are unable to see what is taking place down here to our once great nation. You worked so hard throughout the duration of your life to prevent just such an occurrence. You do not need to feel the pain of our demise.

Little Known Disease Estimated to Effect Millions

I have recently been made aware of a little known disease that tens of thousands may be suffering from, and not even know it. It is a very difficult to diagnose disorder that effects brain function, and causes it’s victims to say and/or do incredibly irresponsible, often idiotic things. This disorder is known quite simply as douchebaggery, or “DB”. Long term this disorder can lead to an inability to function normally in society, and may cause a more serious condition known as Misfortune Due to Douchebaggery Syndrome, or “MDTD”.

Those that suffer from DB and/or MDTD may experience loss of respect, loss of possessions, loss of friends and family. Symptoms include exaggerated feelings of confidence, overinflated ego, loose lips, problems with law enforcement and/or any authority figures, inability to speak at a low volume, laughing hysterically at own jokes, association with liberals and progressives, inability to hold down a career, urges to install mufflers on cars that sound like weed-whackers, wearing of sunglasses indoors, wearing of Che Guevara shirts, flexing of muscles in public places, belittling of the opposite sex, desire to wear pants at knee level, desire to tell everyone exactly how much you’ve had to drink, purchasing of wheels that cost more than their car, urge to wear fake tanning products, bleaching the tips of your hair, and countless others.

Do you or somebody you love suffer from DB or MDTD?? Unfortunately there is currently no cure for either disorder. Recent studies have indicated positive results in 25% of patients from a treatment known as “punch to the throat” or PTT, but further testing is required. I was recently made aware of a website owned by a writer who obviously suffers from advanced stages of the disease (Inmalafide.com) Thanks to Sharon from www.theliberalheretic.com for providing this information and I am hoping maybe we could set up an intervention to try to get this website author to accept the help he so desperately needs to combat the DB which causes him to spew idiotic, mindless thoughts.

Recently, a “Douche Off” was conducted to raise money and draw attention to this not-so-rare disorder. I pray someday we will find a cure.

Nancy Pelosi Is A Horrible Person...Even Leftist Network CNN Says So.

The video speaks for itself. Seriously, California...you can't find someone better than this to represent your state??? I wouldn't hire her to run a Pizza Hut, yet she is Speaker of the House.

Not to be forgotten is that this is not an isolated incident. Ms. Nancy has a history of pampering herself on our hard earned tax dollars. In early 2009, Department of Defense emails were released which detailed interactions between military officials and staffers for Queen Nancy. How Dare Joe Wilson Yell "You Lie" While Obama Is Lying!!

For those who may have missed it last night, Rep. Joe Wilson had the audacity to tell the truth in the Capitol Building last night. I know, this is rather shocking to hear that the truth might actually still be spoken in those chambers from time to time. Even more shocking is the outburst was directed at the almighty President Obama, who, at that very moment, was; in fact, lying to everyone who was listening to his address.

I have included the video, not so much so you can hear the outburst, but what I found to be the most entertaining in this clip, is the reaction of Nancy Pelosi. Watch how she reacts after the comment is made. She gets this shocked, "how dare anyone speak ill of the almighty Obama" look on her face, and then continues to stare in that direction for quite some time, as if to identify who it was, so they might be the first to be sent to the newly built internment camps. In all seriousness, it was hard to watch any portion of this speech, as it makes me incredibly nauseous to see Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all in one picture at the same time. It's like the the "Perfect Storm" of radical statists, and it makes me reach for the pepto.

Liberals have wasted no time in politicizing Ted Kennedy’s death. Rather than spending time honoring their fallen comrade, an idea which quite honestly makes me throw up in my mouth a little, they instead are using his death as a political rallying cry to tug at everyone’s emotions to support Obamacare.

Almost immediately after the attending physician called “time of death” Nancy Pelosi was on the airwaves saying, “Senator Kennedy had a grand vision for America, and an unparalleled ability to effect change.” “Ted Kennedy's dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration.”

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C. stated, “As we move forward with health reform legislation, his absence will be palpable, But let us use his inspirational words as our guide, to rise to our best ideals and finally provide decent quality health care to all Americans as a fundamental right, not a privilege.”

Wow!! There really are no limits to what the statists will sink to in order to gain more power. It’s amazing to me what a few years will do to repair a persons reputation. I don’t believe in re-writing a persons life upon their death. My father has always maintained that someone who is no good in life, is still no good after death. I would have remained silent on Kennedy’s death, invoking the “if you don’t have anything nice to say” philosophy, but this “Do it for Ted” pep rally has inspired me.

I was at a get-together with friends a couple of weeks ago when a friend from work approached me. Somewhat inebriated, he informed me that he was about to get lucky with a young female who was attending the party. He asked that if his wife called to cover for him. I thought quickly about his level of intoxication, coupled with the fact that it was difficult to get home from my residence. I also pondered his ability to successfully get across the rickety old bridge not far from my home. I proudly handed him the keys, patted him on the back and said, “Do it! Do it for Ted!”

THE ASSEMBLING OF "ENFORCERS" TO QUIET THE PEOPLE‏

It should disturb any freedom loving American to hear that labor unions(SEIU) and special interest groups such as ACORN are mobilizing their members and busing them to townhalls to disrupt, intimidate, and even assault, any Americans who would dare voice their concern or disagreement with the Obama healthcare plan.

I am disturbed, but not surprised that these tactics are taking place. After all, The democratic leaders, if not directly giving the order for this to take place, at a minimum have encouraged it by their rhetoric towards anyone who would dissent from their self-professed wisdom.

Nancy Pelosi made the bogus claim that protestors attending townhall meetings were "carrying swastikas" to the meetings. She has also called the protestors "un-american" in an op-ed column this week. It should be noted that comrade Pelosi likes to throw around the "un-american" accusation. She earlier this year labeled police raids on companies known to be employing illegal immigrants as "un-american."

Senator Harry Reid called the townhall protestors "evil-mongers."

Chris Matthews went a few steps further by identifying townhall protestors as racists. On his Tuesday show he was quoted as saying, "I think some of the people are upset because we have a black president."

Michigan Congressman John Dingell (D) appeared in a TV interview this week comparing the ongoing nationwide town hall protests to the 1960's opposition to the Civil Rights Act by the Ku Klux Klan.

This is just the type of behavior I would expect from these liberal statists. Even though the polls (not that I'm big on poll numbers) would support that a majority of Americans are against this healthcare legislation, these holier-than-thou leftists will, rather than admit they are wrong about anything, force the legislation down our throats, because in their pompous fantasy world, they certainly know what is better for us than we know for ourselves.

Continually dismissing a majority of the voting population as "fringe" is not very intelligent on their part, as they must face election in coming years. But then again, I'm sure they can count on their "enforcers" to help swing the vote in their favor with another nationwide fraudulent voter registration program. Maybe they can mobilize more Black Panthers to be present at voting locations to intimidate voters. After all, as long as their candidate gets elected they will not be prosecuted for the behavior.

It is no longer time to get angry about these type of incidents. It is time to take action with the tools guaranteed to us in the U.S. Constitution. All Americans who value their liberty and independence must get actively involved now, before we wake up one morning and wonder where our freedom went.

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!

Reaching deep into her liberal bag of tricks, Nancy Pelosi has reverted to the, "Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire" defense. This, my friends, is when you know a liberal is running scared. Just for fun, let's examine the many different responses we have heard from Ms. Pelosi on this CIA interrogation fiasco. First she vehemently denied knowing anything about the CIA's use of enhanced interrogation techniques. Then, when it became clear that she had been briefed on these methods; first, by the CIA in late 2002, and again in early 2003 by one of her aides, she attempted to pull a liberal "jedi mind trick" with an 'I was briefed that a brief took place, but not on what was discussed' defense. When the CIA was able to produce documents which show precisely what was briefed regarding these techniques Ms. Pelosi, now cornered, pulled out the age old, "Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire" liberal smokescreen.

I have learned quite a few things by studying liberals over the past 17 or so years. The main point I have learned is that although they are, in fact, very intelligent for the most part, if you wait them out for a while they will no doubt undo themselves with their greed and/or arrogance. Once they have been exposed, they utilize a very narrow and predictable playbook to rid themselves of whatever the current accusation might be. Below is a brief list of plays you can expect to see:

1. Ignore the story - pretend it is not happening, or deflect like crazy.

2. Find some sort of moral equivalence or a story from 30 years ago saying a Conservative did something sort of similar.

3. Come up with some conspiracy theories. This is usually the most amusing part, reading and hearing all the strange stuff they come up with to explain how someone might have accidentally come to the conclusion they did something wrong.

4. Blame Conservatives for bringing the truth to light. How dare they do that!!!!

5. Concoct strange defenses based on wild psychological discourse, which no one understands, including the writer, but it sounds good, and allows a liberal to confuse a small portion of the population.

6. Whine about the discussion of the topic, proclaiming that it means nothing, and why aren't we talking about X? This is usually the point where Liberals truly understand how bad the issue really is for them, typically when even the NY Times cannot ignore it, so, now they want to have an in-depth discussion on the point of the Iraq War, which you have had 1,000times, but, they strangely have never had.

7. Declare victory! Those dastardly Conservatives have been proven wrong again, and why do you keep asking so many questions?

8. Find a lower ranking liberal in the food chain to be the "fall guy".

It will be interesting to see where this goes in the next few weeks. If the Obama administration persists with the investigations into the interrogation techniques, they will most likely drag down one of the loudest leftists in it. I am guessing that they will choose not to make Pelosi a sacrificial lamb just yet, and will quietly hope the whole mess just goes away. At this pace, the current administration will destroy the Clinton administrations standing record of most scandals in a term. It would be humorous if it were not rapidly eroding our liberty and freedom each day.
