A Beautiful Video To Start Your Week

I found this to be a motivating video to get everyone's week started on the "right" track. I apologize for not posting anything last week. It was a very hectic week. Thanks to Edward Snyder on Facebook for showing me the video.

The Magnificent Seven...Congressional ACORN Sex Ring Enablers!

There have been a lot of news articles focusing on ACORN and the vote by the Senate to remove their funding. Most articles have been focusing on the 83-7 vote to remove funding as a victory, and while I agree it is a victory, I feel it important to point out that SEVEN SENATORS VOTED TO KEEP GIVING OUR TAX DOLLARS TO A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!!! I feel it important to list the senators, as they have now identified themselves as some of the most corrupt politicians in America. Please feel free to give them a call and ask them to explain themselves. I have included a video below from O'Reilly which shows even liberal Jon Stewart can't believe what's going on with ACORN coverage, or the lack thereof.

Hispanic Caucus Helps to Prove Joe Wilson's Accusation...Obama Lied

Follow along with me everyone. It shouldn't be hard. We will be travelling along a trail of logic and common sense...liberals, feel free to find another article, say at Huffington Post, which you will be able to keep up with.

Last week President Obama gave a speech to Congress. In it, he claimed that illegal immigrants would not be included in the healthcare reform bill, and that those who claim that they are were fear-mongering and being dishonest. Of course everyone knows now the infamous words from Joe Wilson, "You Lie!" An entire week goes by which sees Wilson getting punished for daring to call the President a liar.

The President, a week later, announces that he seeks to have the wording in the healthcare bill which would bar illegal immigrants from receiving healthcare under the new plan. Now, all of a sudden, the hispanic caucus is outraged, and are considering no longer supporting the bill.

Am I going crazy here, or does that pretty much say that, at least in the congressional hispanic caucus' eye, the bill, as it stood before, would have provided healthcare for illegal immigrants? And if I further connect the dots, wouldn't that, at least in the minds of the hispanic caucus, support that Joe Wilson was telling the truth, as it was spoken, on that date?

Follow me in Cliff's notes format. Obama says illegal immigrants not included in healthcare bill...no outrage from hispanic caucus

One week later, Obama seeks to have illegal immigrants barred from healthcare bill...hispanic caucus is outraged, and considers withdrawing support for bill.

Seriously, Joe Wilson is now officially owed an apology from President Obama, Jimmy (last worst president) Carter, and anyone in Congress who voted to censure him yesterday...which included the below listed RINO's. If I were Joe, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Am I the only one scratching my head???

Obama and ACORN...Like Peas and Carrots!

In light of the recent findings regarding the criminal enterprise known as ACORN, it is important to re-visit some articles which were written last year...you know, the year we elected Barack Hussein Obama as President. One of the most informative article I've found was written by Stanley Kurtz at the National Review Online. This article details just how close Obama's ties were with ACORN and was written on May 29, 2008. You remember, back when nobody cared to hear anything negative about this wonderful man of change.

I am normally not one to write an article which basically just points readers to another article, but I am making an exception in this case, as it is worth refreshing everyone's memory as they read the headlines regarding the corruption in ACORN.

Way to Go Florida!! You Elected This!!

I am feeling more qualified to run for office every day

Genius!!! Still Going with the Isolated Incident Defense ACORN??

Just like good chess players, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles had to have known their opponents moves well ahead of their own. After releasing an incredibly damaging video last week which revealed extreme corruption in ACORN (not exactly shocking to anyone who has been following their maneuvering), ACORN representatives immediately went into smoke-screen mode, claiming it was a Fox News financed set-up (not that this responds to the behavior of their employees) and that the filmmakers had been turned away at numerous other offices. They claimed the story was not being told accurately, as it did not mention all of the offices which turned the filmmakers away.

First and foremost, if I am the CEO of an organization which has hundreds of satellite offices and one of those offices is revealed to be operating in a grossly criminal manner, the last defense I would ever introduce to the media would be the "my other offices aren't doing this" defense. That, in itself, screams out incompetence at the highest level of the organization. Secondly, I believe any successful CEO would clean up his organization and take steps to thank the filmmakers for pointing out the corruption taking place in the organization. Instead ACORN has taken steps to file a lawsuit against the filmmakers, showing just how pompously crooked they are as an organization.

Nonetheless, Mr O'Keefe and Ms. Giles knew that the cronies would make this move, and to completely discredit the "isolated incident" theory, they had other videos at different locations in the U.S., which show ACORN workers providing the same assistance to a pimp and prostitute who want ACORN assistance with obtaining a loan for a home to run their prostitution business, complete with underage girls from El Salvador.

So, ACORN, two questions for you. How is the "isolated incident" theory working out for you now that three separate videos have been released? Also, how many other examples do you think Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Giles have, yet to be released, should you continue with this disgusting attempt to make ACORN sound like the victim?

We Must Never Forget!!!

This murder of 3,000 innocent Americans must always stay fresh in our minds...as we have an administration which seeks to make peace and negotiate with our enemies, even apologize for our actions as though we somehow brought this upon ourselves!!! We must not allow the short term memory of so many allow this event to fade away into the past. There is still work to be done!!

9/11 Memorium: In Honor of Stuart Seid Louis

I am sure September 11th, 2001, began like any other day for Stuart Seid Louis. Stuart had accomplished so much in his young life. A successful career as an investment banker, a wife Sharon, and two wonderful children, Evan and Kara, he was respected by his peers as "the consummate professional" and known as a "sharp dresser" in the workplace. I can only imagine it was another day at the office for him. At the age of 43 he was well liked and respected as a managing director at Sandler O'Neill & Partners. He excelled at work, yet was not consumed by it. At least once every week he made sure to get out and take his father to lunch. He also consistently ensured he attended parent/teacher conferences and was very involved in family life.

I wonder if he had any feeling this day, as he took the elevator to the the 104th floor of 2 World Trade Center, any intuition, that this day we now know to be so tragic, was about to take place. I am certain that he did not, and it is a blessing, as I pray his final thoughts were the happy memories he had helped to create over the years with his wife and children.
Sadly, Stuart's life ended on this day, in an act of cowardice I pray this nation never forgets. Thanks to Mr. Louis, we can remember the accomplishments and the happiness he brought to his loved ones. That cannot be taken away. The time he took out of his life to make others' lives brighter, that light shall live on in the hearts and the minds of his family and friends, who are certainly better for having known him for the short time the Lord allowed him to be on this Earth.
On the 8th anniversary of this horrific act, my heart goes out to the family of Stuart Seid Louis, as well as all of the victims' families. May we always remember these innocent victims, and resolve ourselves to do whatever is necessary to never allow such a disaster to take place again.
Below is a link to pictures which were created by children who lost parents in this horrible attack. On the page linked are pictures which were made by Kara and Evan Louis, in honor of their father Stuart.

How Dare Joe Wilson Yell "You Lie" While Obama Is Lying!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxHKSHvMRWE

For those who may have missed it last night, Rep. Joe Wilson had the audacity to tell the truth in the Capitol Building last night. I know, this is rather shocking to hear that the truth might actually still be spoken in those chambers from time to time. Even more shocking is the outburst was directed at the almighty President Obama, who, at that very moment, was; in fact, lying to everyone who was listening to his address.

I have included the video, not so much so you can hear the outburst, but what I found to be the most entertaining in this clip, is the reaction of Nancy Pelosi. Watch how she reacts after the comment is made. She gets this shocked, "how dare anyone speak ill of the almighty Obama" look on her face, and then continues to stare in that direction for quite some time, as if to identify who it was, so they might be the first to be sent to the newly built internment camps. In all seriousness, it was hard to watch any portion of this speech, as it makes me incredibly nauseous to see Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all in one picture at the same time. It's like the the "Perfect Storm" of radical statists, and it makes me reach for the pepto.

Stop Twisting the Bible Liberals, Jesus was NOT a Socialist!

I have seen a growing number of liberal articles being printed which attempt to paint conservative Christians as hippocrites for opposing the healthcare reform bill. Let me first say that I am overjoyed that modern day liberals could take the time out of their busy day to find and crack open a bible, but am disturbed that they seem to have had an ulterior motive in doing so.

Apparently the new attack is to refer to any passage in which Jesus refers to the "poor" or "sick" and claim that Jesus calls upon our country to care for them, with any resistance to this being hypocrisy on the part of conservatives, a large number of which are Christians. First let me say that I, as a Christian, feel that attempting to support either side of a political issue by invoking Jesus' words is ill-advised. For the Christian, we know that Jesus was sent to Earth for specific reasons, namely to bear all of the sins of the world on his back, so that we might have an opportunity to accept him as our Savior and have everlasting life. So I do not support the premise behind their articles whatsoever, as it is based in political gain, not edification of Jesus, but I will look at a few verses and investigate:

The main set of verses being utilized by the libs is Matthew 25:34-40:

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Important to note here is Jesus makes no mention of the Government performing any of these functions, but is speaking to individual humans regarding their need to conduct themselves in a charitable manner. This can actually be further clarified if one were to read the earlier verses in the same chapter:

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

These passages would support that we, as individuals are to utilize our talents to work, be successful, and most importantly to represent Our Lord in a positive manner and give unto him for the talents he has blessed us with, through tithing and charity, as individuals!

Let's even look at the verses in the same chapter, just a little earlier than this:

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

I ask you, do these verses support socialism in any way? I am not here to say what Jesus would or would not support politically, as I feel he would chastise any having the debate in the first place. Jesus came to this earth for a much more important mission than choosing a political party! However, if he were, in fact, a socialist, he would have chastised the five wise virgins for not giving of their oil to the foolish virgins.

See, what the liberals need to know is that it is very ill-advised (understatement) to twist the words of Jesus to gain political favor. Please do not confuse this article as any attempt on my part to say Jesus is a conservative. I most assuredly am not. I believe Jesus would not waste his time with such political discussions. Jesus called on all of us, to be charitable and take care of our fellow man, to feed the hungry, care for the sick, etc. He calls on us as individuals to conduct ourselves in this manner, and likewise, he explains that we will be judged individually on these things one day. No government entity will be judged on judgement day, it will be each, according to their own individual acts.

I am not attempting to preach a sermon today. I have not been called to be a preacher, but I felt it important to address this argument being made by socialist liberals, as I find it reprehensible that they would attempt to use the words of the bible to support their policies, yet, on a daily basis they are the ones who fight so fervently against prayer in schools, any religious display on any government property, and most importantly anything pro-life. Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal.

Van Jones...A Battle Won, Stay Focused On the War

I woke up this morning to the wonderful news that Van Jones, the radical, self-avowed communist, had resigned as "Green Jobs Czar" amid an outpouring of protest from Americans nationwide.

First and foremost, I am happy and relieved to see that our liberty, freedom of speech, and conservative values still carry weight in this rapidly declining democracy. Second, and more importantly in my opinion, it is important to not use this victory as an excuse to relax our efforts.

There are too many battles to be fought for anyone to rest now. Momentum is currently on our side and we must keep the troops focused on future battlefields like socialized healthcare, cap and trade, the other unvetted czars that have escaped scrutiny, namely FCC czar Mark Lloyd, who's words demonstrate that his sole mission is to quiet our voices...gee, I wonder why he would want to do that? It could be due to the fact that we are making a difference.

It is time to use the Van Jones victory as proof we can make a difference and momentum for these future engagements, not as a time to begin high-fiving each other, lest we be distracted and miss something the statists attempt to slip by us in the night.

Wow! Van Jones Produces Anti-American Music As Well!!

The hits just keep on coming for Van Jones. Now uncovered by http://www.verumserum.com/, is an anti-war, anti-American record which his organization sponsored and he is featured on. Below is an excerpt of an interview where he mentions the record:

Jones: We've been applying a concept borrowed from South Africa: "Govern from below." We take high school students and college-age people who've decided they don't care about anything and put them through workshops and educational programs so they can become advocates for themselves. We have a reputation for showing up with several dozen young people at city government meetings and turning the mic over to these young people, who then use hip-hop and poetry to describe the conditions they'd like to see changed in their community.

Marable: What's the general reaction?

Jones: Policymakers are usually blown away by the passion and creativity, but also by the pain these young people are speaking about. We've shown we can win reform, not because I have a law degree, but because dozens of young people have truth on their side and can speak it.

Marable: A lot of this is about mass disfranchisement. Anywhere from one-third to half of all adults who are black are not even in the paid labor force. In communities like Harlem, the largest employer is the fast-food industry. The older civil rights leadership, with a few notable exceptions such as Julian Bond, has not yet effectively spoken to new realities that are destroying an entire generation of young black women and men. Not fully and not effectively. That's why I'm so hopeful about this new generation emerging, like Jeff Johnson of the youth division of NAACP. It's this kind of leadership we desperately need to solve the new problems of the neo-political liberal age.

Jones: Amen. When we talk about neo-liberalism, essentially we have a system where there are no rules for the rich and no rights for the poor. Politics of liberation in the new century that [exists] in terms of integration vs. segregation is anachronistic. It has little to do with what's happening today. So we raise new slogans: "schools, not jails"; "books, not bars"; "jobs, not jails." Whereas people in the '60s were protesting on campuses, we have a generation of blacks and Latinos protesting for their rights to get on campuses and have the opportunity to learn. The dynamic is very different. The people we see on a daily basis, when they go to high school the police cars are already there, because they are stationed there. If they get into a push-and-shove match in the hallway, they don't go to the principal's office, they go to the precinct in handcuffs. That's the reality were dealing with: over-policing, overincarceration. Our job is to say, 'Look, we want safe communities.' And the safest communities are not the ones with the most police. The safest communities are the ones with the best jobs and education. We want what works in the suburbs. We want that for our communities. It's a very different fight. At the same time it's a continuation of the fight that started years ago.

Marable: That's right. Every generation must find its own voice and use culture in creative ways to speak to the new realities. In the 1960s you had the Freedom Singers of SNCC. You had [anthemic] songs such as "We Shall Overcome", and now the 21st-century hip-hop generation increasingly uses the most progressive currents as a way of interrogating and challenging the prison-industrial complex, and structural racism, discrimination based on gender, race, class, sexual orientation. [I understand you have] developed a record label, Freedom Fighter Music.

Jones: Yes, we've had one for a little more than a year. Our second CD is coming out this year.

This is an excerpt from an interview from USA Today http://www.usaweekend.com/03_issues/030209/030209BHM-criminal.html

The CD Jones speaks of contains the below music (if you want to call it that) and is titled, "Wartimes:Reports from the Opposition. Ensure all of the kiddies are out of the room when you listen to this, it is most certainly not a family friendly song. Not only was Van Jones the founder/director of the organization which sponsored this record, he is actually featured on this track, with his portion starting at around 3:45 of the Anti-American rant. Thanks to http://www.verumserum.com/ for uncovering yet another example of why Van Jones has no business working for the government in any capacity, much less advising the President of the United States.

ABC Actually Allows An Objective Piece on Proposed Nationalized Healthcare

Associated Press Disregards Family Wishes for Deceased Marine’s Photo

The Associated Press has released a photo of Marine Lance Corporal Joshua Bernard, which graphically portrays the Marine shortly after being hit by a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) during a firefight in the Helmland Province of Southern Afghanistan. LCpl Bernard later died from the injuries suffered in the attack.

The parents of LCpl Bernard were shown the photograph from embedded reporter Julie Jacobson, who had been following the unit. LCpl Bernard’s father, John Bernard, specifically requested that the AP not release the photograph, citing that it was disrespectful to his son’s memory.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates described the decision to release the photo in spite of the parents’ wishes, “appalling” and later wrote to the wire services CEO Thomas Curley, stating, “Your lack of compassion and common sense in choosing to put this image of their maimed and stricken child on the front page of multiple American newspapers is appalling. The issue here is not law, policy or constitutional right — but judgment and common decency.”

I couldn’t agree more with the Defense Secretary. It is disgraceful that the Associated Press would not honor the wishes of the bereaved family. What kind of an organization wouldn’t go the extra mile to see that a family facing such hardship were comforted in any way possible, given the opportunity to do so, much less to disregard the one request they made from the organization.

This selfish, business first mentality, degrades human decency and serves no purpose other than to garner attention for themselves at the expense of a mourning family. That, Mr. Curley, is simply evil!

I’m not sure on the legalities involved in such a move, but if it is possible, the Pentagon should consider revoking the imbedded reporter privilege that the AP currently abuses. They have obviously shown they are not responsible or decent enough to responsibly utilize them.

Remove Charles Rangel From Office New York!!! All Military read!!

I started working on an article earlier this morning about Representative Charles Rangel and his attempt to throw the race card into the healthcare reform debate. In researching past quotes of Charles Rangel, I came across a quote of his which makes me want to immediately fly to New York or Washington DC, wherever this uneducated toolbag is at, and confront him about it. The quote reads:

“Meanwhile, our young men and women whose economic circumstances make military service a viable career choice are dying bravely in a war with no end in sight.”

For those who do not know me already, I am a United States Marine. I have been a United States Marine for over 15 years. I say that not to receive accolades or “thank you’s” from anyone. I did not join the military due to some “economic circumstance” which, according to your wording, made me settle for such a second-rate career.

As I try to respond to this I am so flooded with anger and disbelief that I can’t even properly put my thoughts together. This is an elected official representing the United States of America!! The same United States that successfully defeated a far superior, better funded, British Army to gain their independence. The same United States that fought to defeat Hitler and the Nazis in Europe. The same United States that maintains the best trained, most powerful, most educated ALL VOLUNTEER fighting force this world has ever been witness to!!

New York allows this man…this weak, ill informed, uneducated, hate-mongoring, instigating coward to represent to represent them??? Either he should be removed from New York or the Statue of Liberty should be moved from New York to a State which is accurately represented by what she stands for!!

Let me give you a bit of education Mr. Rangel, scratch that…I don’t have enought respect to call you Mr. Rangel, Chuck.

I have served my country honorably, as so many other military members have in the past, the present, and will continue to well into the future. There are many reasons I joined the Marine Corps Chuck. Let me introduce a few new words to your vocabulary, which you obviously have little knowledge regarding:

LIBERTY- It is freedom at the center of why people join the military, Chuck. Sure some are attracted by other things as well, but the vast majority of the military is filled with freedom loving Americans who want to perform a job each day that they can be proud of. As hard as it is for me to admit this, I am proud to defend your right to say and act as you please, as ignorant as you may be, you are free to do it.

PATRIOTIC- I am as patriotic as they come. I still get a little choked up at times when I see our nations flag and hear our national anthem before a sporting event. I feel so strongly about liberty and our constitution that I want to do my part to preserve what we have in this great nation

HONOR- There is no more honorable act a man or woman can do in this country than to volunteer to defend the rights and liberties of the citizens of this country. There is an honor those of us who serve get to experience that others do not.

FREEDOM- We believe in freedom so strongly that we are willing to lay our lives down in order to preserve it. I understand that this type of dedication is certainly foreign to you, Chuck.

Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, Freedom!!! This country does not oppress it’s inhabitants to the point that they are forced to join the military, Chuck. You would love to think that true though, wouldn’t you Chuck? That would allow you to preach your hateful words and split this nation along racial lines. After all, that’s all you have to keep you in office, isn’t it Chuck? If you didn’t have the race card to play everyday, and the curtains were opened to reveal any real substance or qualifications you have to perform the job title you have, this nation and the State of New York would find you sorely lacking!

Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, Freedom!!! These are words which are like a foreign language to you. After all, these terms aren’t regularly mentioned when discussing the investigations by two House sub-committees into your personal finances and fund-raising, which have revealed that you failed to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income. Not a lot of honor going on in that, is there Chuck?

New York, please do this nation and yourselves a favor and remove this undeserving cretin from office, and relocate him, preferably to a prison cell.

So Predictable…When The Going Gets Tough, The Libs Play The Race Card

Well I bet nobody saw this coming. Bogged down by sinking approval numbers for the President, and a growing disdain among Americans for the democrat led senate, Charles Rangel has enacted the ever-so-popular liberal defense mechanism, the race card.

Rangel, the Chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means committee stated that “bias” and “prejudice” toward Obama are fueling opposition to health-care reform. Rangel further stated, “Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is president of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, ‘How did this happen?’ “

Rangel said when critics complain that Obama is “trying to interfere” with his push for healthcare reform, “then you know there’s just a misunderstanding, a bias, a predjudice, an emotional feeling.”

Rangel went so far as to compare the battle for healthcare reform to the battle for civil rights stating, “Why do we have to wait for the right to vote? Why can’t we get what God has given us? That is the right to live as human beings and not negotiate with white southerners and not count the votes. Just do the right thing.”

REALLY?? SERIOUSLY?? How is it possible that this guy gets elected to public office. Such uneducated, thoughtless, baseless arguments, from the mouth of a Conservative, would spell the end of their career as a politician. This isn’t the first stupid thing Charles rangel has ever stated.

He launched a number of uneducated responses during the Hurricane Katrina fiasco, like, “The Iraq war took priority over domestic disaster prevention” and “The people who couldn’t get out of New Orleans to escape the storm were predominantly Black.”

Here’s another brainy quote from your elected official, New York…”Today many Caribbean workers can be found in the hospital, construction, service and hotel industries, but there is also a growing professional sector.” ??????

How about this one Rangel fans, “We love the ability of the people to influence the actions of decision-makers, of lawmakers and presidents to be removed from or elevated to office by the will of voters, and of the community to connect amongst diverse populations through the ballot box.” To know what Rangel really meant by this, substitute ACORN for “people” and MoveOn.org for “voters”

I, however, should not be so hard on ole Charlie I guess. He is only utilizing the liberals favorite play in their predictable playbook. Anytime the going gets tough, the liberals play the race card. Sure, it’s racism fueling the vast outcry at townhalls across the nation Charlie, because it couldn’t possibly be that the majority of Americans don’t support the socialized healthcare bill submitted by the liberals. It has to be something shallow like racism, because anyone intelligent enough to be a liberal would know that liberals always know what’s best for us.

If it is indeed racism, Chuck, how did Barack Obama get elected in the first place? If this nation is still so consumed by racism, as you seem to spew from your mouth on a daily basis, then how could an African-American be democratically elected by this nation?

New York, you should be ashamed and embarrassed that you routinely elect this undeserving, uneducated, hate-filled, poor excuse for a leader to represent your state. This is just the beginning of my focus on Rangel today. I found a quote which disturbes me so much, as a military member, that I most post separately on it.

A Letter From My Son's Middle School Principal

Upon hearing the news the other day that "The Chosen One" would be blessing children nationwide with his vast amount of wisdom that only comes from being a community organizer, I immediately fired off a letter to the principal of my son's school, in order to determine if he would be getting a parent sponsored day off next Tuesday. His response is below:

Mr. Williams,

Thank you for your question and concern about our curriculum and instructional practices. I sincerely appreciate your interest. Your email was the first I had heard about a speech by President Obama. The last week has been filled with activities and meetings regarding fundraising for our middle school sports program, planning for a sports program with limited funds (still looking for a wrestling coach), PTO Meetings, and the normal daily activities of a middle school.

To answer your question, there is no plan to interrupt the school day to participate in a speech; other than Student Council elections late next week during Homeroom. Our focus is student learning and meeting & exceeding the Arizona State Standards. Feel free to contact me regarding further questions.

Having read this, I feel much better about the school system my son is in.  Maybe I was reading into his letter too much, but it almost seems to me he is indirectly saying that they have more important things to do than listen to the speech.  Anyone have any opinions on this letter??

OBAMA IS GOING TO SPEAK TO ALL CHILDREN AT SCHOOL ON SEPTEMBER 8TH

Maybe he will play this video for them and have them all join in a rendition!

My children will not be attending the first brainwashing session of the Obama Youth Movement

DO IT FOR TED!!!THERE IS NO DEPTH TOO LOW FOR LIBS

Liberals have wasted no time in politicizing Ted Kennedy’s death. Rather than spending time honoring their fallen comrade, an idea which quite honestly makes me throw up in my mouth a little, they instead are using his death as a political rallying cry to tug at everyone’s emotions to support Obamacare.

Almost immediately after the attending physician called “time of death” Nancy Pelosi was on the airwaves saying, “Senator Kennedy had a grand vision for America, and an unparalleled ability to effect change.” “Ted Kennedy's dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration.”

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C. stated, “As we move forward with health reform legislation, his absence will be palpable, But let us use his inspirational words as our guide, to rise to our best ideals and finally provide decent quality health care to all Americans as a fundamental right, not a privilege.”

Wow!! There really are no limits to what the statists will sink to in order to gain more power. It’s amazing to me what a few years will do to repair a persons reputation. I don’t believe in re-writing a persons life upon their death. My father has always maintained that someone who is no good in life, is still no good after death. I would have remained silent on Kennedy’s death, invoking the “if you don’t have anything nice to say” philosophy, but this “Do it for Ted” pep rally has inspired me.

I was at a get-together with friends a couple of weeks ago when a friend from work approached me. Somewhat inebriated, he informed me that he was about to get lucky with a young female who was attending the party. He asked that if his wife called to cover for him. I thought quickly about his level of intoxication, coupled with the fact that it was difficult to get home from my residence. I also pondered his ability to successfully get across the rickety old bridge not far from my home. I proudly handed him the keys, patted him on the back and said, “Do it! Do it for Ted!”
