Van Jones...A Battle Won, Stay Focused On the War

I woke up this morning to the wonderful news that Van Jones, the radical, self-avowed communist, had resigned as "Green Jobs Czar" amid an outpouring of protest from Americans nationwide.

First and foremost, I am happy and relieved to see that our liberty, freedom of speech, and conservative values still carry weight in this rapidly declining democracy. Second, and more importantly in my opinion, it is important to not use this victory as an excuse to relax our efforts.

There are too many battles to be fought for anyone to rest now. Momentum is currently on our side and we must keep the troops focused on future battlefields like socialized healthcare, cap and trade, the other unvetted czars that have escaped scrutiny, namely FCC czar Mark Lloyd, who's words demonstrate that his sole mission is to quiet our voices...gee, I wonder why he would want to do that? It could be due to the fact that we are making a difference.

It is time to use the Van Jones victory as proof we can make a difference and momentum for these future engagements, not as a time to begin high-fiving each other, lest we be distracted and miss something the statists attempt to slip by us in the night.
