Happy New Year Fellow Conservative Bloggers

I was watching a video on Conservative Blogs Central, which was showing how many conservative blogs have sprung up this year to combat the current administration and their attempts to take our freedom and liberties. Somehow my little blog made the cut and was listed around the 2:19 mark of the song. As I sum up my first year of doing this I have to thank the good friends I have made this year from around the country and elsewhere in the world. The experience and knowledge I have gained from my fellow conservative bloggers is appreciated more than I can express with words.

I will give a few shout-outs (not the Ft. Hood kind) for the year to a few of my favorite bloggers. Special thanks to Random Acts of Patriotism, The Conservative Mama, Opus #6 aka MAinfo, and my personal guilty venting pleasure, The Daily Retard. All of you have helped me immensely with starting and continuing my blog, and I read your blogs daily. The reason I say that is you are the only ones who read it...jk, seriously, it has been a great year of meeting fellow conservatives and learning from each other. May we continue to strengthen in number and power in the new year so we may right the ship before it is too late. God bless all fellow conservative bloggers in the new year.

Ronald Reagan Presidential Christmas Address

How far we have come as a nation since Ronald Reagan's address in 1981. Has President Obama even made a Christmas address? If he does, I am guessing it will be called a "holiday address" and will not speak of Bethlehem, a manger, or Jesus. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to everyone. If I find an Obama christmas address I will post it. I'm surprised there isn't one yet since the almighty Obama usually makes any excuse to post himself on all of our network channels so he can pontificate to his followers.

Dear Every Senator:

You shall not pass this monstrosity Harry Reid calls health “reform” because in your twisted arrogance you are blind, unable to see everyone around you recoiling in horror, from the left to the moderate to the right to the voice of the American people expressed in every last poll spewing from the MSM. You know when CNN reports, actually reports, such widespread discontent that you people haven’t the capacity to see beyond the fog of the Twilight Zone surrounding your District of Criminals.

You shall not pass this bill because we back here in flyover country know that whatever form it eventually takes at 8:30 p.m. this Christmas Eve, after you add a slew of amendments that weigh it down like rocks strapped to a hit vic, will be only scaffolding for the final hell you and the House will consummate and birth in committee next January, a bill that will kill the only healthcare in the world worth paying for, a bill that will blanket this country with single-payer care (despite claims otherwise), a bill that will destroy our options and stifle our liberty and not even remotely resemble your president’s hollow mantra of “hope.”

You shall not pass this bill because we cannot sustain your shopping spree. While the number of federal employees making over $100,000 has doubled in the past 18 months, and you just gave them a raise, the unemployment rate in this country is 10 percent and higher in many states you represent and not even close to getting better. In fact, the worst is yet to come. You’ve already sent us barreling beyond the legal debt limit and still you spend more so that you can travel far and wide, fatcat politicians laying claim to an endless stream of someone else’s money: OURS. You shall not pass this bill because it will break this country.

You shall not pass this bill because this country doesn’t need another liberty controlling shell game disguised as “entitlement.” You already have entire generations of people under the loving arm of the Motherland, nuzzling against her for comfort and care, in health (we’ll get to “in sickness” in good time).


You shall not pass this bill because it is NOT free and it will NOT do any good, except boost you’re own inflated and egotistical and maniacal sense of “making history.”

You shall not pass this bill because you do not want to one day regret knowing that, by shoving everyone into the same healthcare plan, you destroyed our chances for ever grabbing a doctor’s time (otherwise known as creating “rationing”). You do not want to regret forcing people to become intimate with the wonderful world of waiting lists, as if we’re standing at the back of a line snaking outside our doctor’s waiting room into the hallway and outside the front door and across the street, stretching to the other side of the county. You do not want to regret forcing people to spend their waiting time being more productive than ever before … by reading War and Peace. While that’s unintended enrichment right there, Creator of Quality health care in the time it takes to read Tolstoy is not an epitaph you one day want chiseled on your tombstone.

You shall not pass this bill because you do not want to chase every smart kid who ever wanted to be a doctor away from medical school. Since doctors already earn less, thanks to Medicare and Medicaid, your health “reform” would push would-be medical students into something else, like garbage collection … or undertaking. Those two businesses are easily the least likely to fall under your government control anytime soon. Garbage is money, always has been (ask The Mob); and for med students, taking care of the dead would be just a few steps away from operating on the live, without the $300,000 in student loan debt or the hassles of malpractice insurance.

You shall not pass this bill because you do not want be responsible for the invention of doctor trailer parks. Under Obamacare, doctors who stay in the biz (due either to their own altruistic reasons or, more likely, to government extortion in exchange for the forgiveness of student loans or practice-related debt) will experience the community joy of public assistance, using food stamps to fill a shelf or two of their refrigerators (if they even have electricity). They’ll sell their homes at a loss and move into federal trailer parks for doctors, seeing patients out of the back room to cut down on practice overhead. The parks will have names like Bones Village and Blue Star Doctors Park and Good Samaritan Estates and take the place of hospitals, saving the federal government billions annually (because, naturally, we’ll have to bail out hospitals by then, too). They’ll become tourist destinations; we’ll plan vacations around our doctor visits and then tour the grounds, letting little Jimmy ride his first x-ray machine in exchange for a $5,000 admission fee. Universities will offer classes about them, with names like Contemporary Medical Trailer Park Economics and Staph Infection in the Trailer Park Hospital. You Congresscriminals, meanwhile, will continue to conduct annual hearings on the State of the American Healthcare Crisis.

You shall not pass this bill because you do not want to create an entirely new travel industry. Under Obamacare, if you get cancer, you can see the world (or what’s left of it) after the Government Health Rationing Board rules you ineligible for care, saving the taxpayers (by then) billions. You’ll use your retirement savings, or what’s left after you pulled them out of the market just before The Crash of ’12 and hid them under a stone in the hearth, to take a fishing boat to Haiti, the ocean cruise business having gone under and Americans no longer visiting any country east of Bermuda after nuclear ballistic missiles, unable to reach North or South America, wiped out every other continent during Iranian President Ahmed Ahmadinejad’s failed attempts to annihilate Washington. You’ll meet a witch doctor who will make you drink chicken’s blood and mumble incantations while stuffing his face in a bong during a 4-hour ceremony to exorcise your tumor. Amazingly, you’ll recover and come back to America and live a long and healthy life, taking annual vacations (by row boat, since you’re now broke) to Haiti for preventive health care.

You shall not pass this bill because you do not want to be responsible for creating less congestion in hospital emergency rooms … for all the wrong reasons. Under Obamacare, your typical accident victim will be treated only if they still have more than 75% of their blood and all of their limbs and at least 90% cognitive function (no substitutes, please). This will preserve the dwindling blood supply and eliminate the waste of resources required to keep a patient on life support. (Plus, it will help save the planet!) And think of the boon for transplantation! Why, with all of the accident victims unworthy of treatment ending up dead, we’ll have mobile organ harvesting sites outside each doctors’ trailer park. Donor waiting lists will become obsolete … that is, of course, if the recipients are still working and able to pay their share of taxes in support of the Motherland.

You shall not pass this bill because, if ACORN can sue the federal government over funding cuts, you can bet your sweet ass millions of people in this country will gladly contribute to organizations willing to bombard you with lawsuits that will hold up your monstrosity for decades in courts. You shall not pass this bill because you can also bet your sweet ass that millions of us will refuse to purchase your mandated health insurance. You do not want to be the reason federal courts start stuffing American people into cells at the new Thomson Penitentiary for Enemy Combatants for refusing to submit to your unconstitutional authority to fine us and jail us and even shoot us over our healthcare insurance.

And we will resist.

Finally, you shall not pass this bill because you are supposed to be the voice of the people. You represent the state from which you were elected. You do not represent yourselves. You do not represent an arrogant and indecisive and thieving and weak president who is on the wrong side of what is right and on the wrong side of history. When it comes right down to it, you shall not pass this bill because, if you do, you can kiss your life in the District of Criminals goodbye; we, the right-wing teabagging mobsters living out here in flyover country, which curiously includes the states you represent, will make sure your careers of public indecent exposure will skid to an embarrassing and resounding and infinitely final halt in 2010 or 2012 or whenever you’re next election happens to be.

Count on it.

I encourage everyone to steal and repost this and to send it to their senator, Republican or Democrat or Independent. The vote of our lifetime is bearing down on us. We MUST stop it now.

A Note to Senator McCaskill


A letter I wrote to one of my two senators in Missouri on the eve of this unconstitutional government power grab:


Senator McCaskill,

If you go along with your democrat counterparts on the healthcare legislation, you will be voted out of office on your next election bid. This legislation is unconstitutional and you would be well advised to vote against this legislation for that reason alone, but I'm sure that isn't good enough reason for a liberal politician, so I am advising you to vote against it, for if you don't I know many in my fine state of Missouri who will organize to ensure you are not re-elected. The media may not have covered it in the months past, but I am quite certain you, a politician, are aware of the "tea party" movement which becomes larger and stronger with every unconstitutional, freedom-robbing, liberty-depriving bill that liberal politicians such as yourself are subjecting the American people to. The American people as well as Missourians have made it clear that they do not want this healthcare bill. The last time I checked it was your job to represent the wishes of the people in the state that elected you. By voting for this legislation you are signing your letter of resignation. I highly recommend you vote against this legislation.


I am guessing she will not listen. Missourians, she is counting on us to have short term memory on this, as she is not up for election until 2012. Let's ensure she counted wrong!!!

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Harry Reid Compares Resistance to Obamacare to Resistance to End Slavery!

The major snafu, if you will, to Mr. Reid's uneducated comparison, is that he fails to inform listeners that it was Republicans that supported legislation to end slavery, not Democrats. It was Republicans that supported legislation to give women the right to vote. I have no doubt that media outlets, other than Fox News, will give Reid a pass on this.

PRIME TIME PREZ IS PROUD IT TOOK THREE MONTHS TO DECIDE

I wrote an article two months ago calling the President to task for his indecisiveness in responding to General McChrystal's request for 40,000 reinforcements in Afghanistan. I was pretty annoyed that the alleged "leader" of our country would take so long with a decision that was costing my fellow military men and women's lives each day he delayed. Little did I know at that time that this colossal failure would delay an additional two months in finally making a decision to send 30,000, instead of 40,000, combat troops. Does anyone else get the feeling that he altered the number being sent just so he wouldn't have to explain why it took him three months to agree and grant the request of the far more experienced General on the ground?

Let's put this in a little perspective. On August 30th General McChrystal requested 40,000 additional combat reinforcements in Afghanistan. In his letter he detailed that these troops were necessary immediately stating,

"Failure to gain the initiative and reverse insurgent momentum in the near-term (next 12 months) -- while Afghan security capacity matures -- risks an outcome where defeating the insurgency is no longer possible."

So the almighty Obama, in his infinite wisdom and military experience, was told by the expert on the ground, a General he appointed to this position, that they needed troops and they needed them now to win this war in Afghanistan. Note that Obama ran his campaign on the premise that this was the righteous war that Bush had ignored and if he were elected he was going to set the ship straight and concentrate on Afghanistan. With all of these facts in line the POTUS spent three months questioning and analyzing the General's request, rather than granting it. Three months of the twelve in the quote above, which, according to General McChrystal were the key months they needed them in order to regain the initiative. Does anyone else have a problem with this??? Does anyone else have a problem with Obama (no military experience whatsoever) spending three months analyzing a military commander's request for troops, along with a group of his fellow politicians, none of which have enough military experience to pick up the General's uniform from the dry cleaners. This reminds me of a great quote from Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men...

"I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way."

There are more things wrong with this scenario than I can even touch on in one article. It seriously blows my mind. Who are they to hem and haw for three months over a request that was sent by the "duty expert" that he himself appointed to the position?

Why am I talking about all of this today, you ask? I write this today because arguably the most disgusting aspect of this entire chain of events is that when the almighty finally came to his decision, he, rather than be ashamed at his horrific display of incompetency, was so proud of himself that he had to go on national TV (again), to announce it to the country. A lot of people laughed of the "Obama-Narcissist or Merely Narcissistic" article written by Dr. Sam Vaknin last year, but his behavior thus far in his young presidency definitely supports this theory.

One more point of idiocy in this whole debacle. If we are going to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan for a push, why would our President make this announcement on national TV and detail it as much as he did? Maybe we should send the Taliban a list of all of the units which will be going, their dates of arrival, manpower, and all tables of equipment and weaponry as well. I hope that I don't annoy Americans by saying this, but this type of transparency is detrimental to the mission. There are a lot of things the general American public doesn't need to know about what my fellow military members are doing in Afghanistan. To be quite blunt, this type of knowledge in the enemies hands gets our brave men and women killed. Last night the Taliban, without needing to use any type of intelligence assets, found out that 30,000 reinforcements are coming to take back control from them. Additionally, and more importantly, they time tables from the President. They now know he plans to start pulling my comrades out of there in 18 months.

Wow!!! I wonder what they'll do??? Does anyone else with an IQ above 80 think they might blend back in with the populace and/or into hiding for about...hmmm...thinking of a figure...thinking...18 months???

The truth is, with decision making and leadership such as this, Obama has no plan or desire to win this war. Every decision he makes is made with politics in mind, not the good of the nation. Being a U.S. Marine, I find this behavior to be despicable. 30,000 of my brothers and sisters are now going to be sent away from their families, many before Christmas this year, to perform an act of symbolism for the Narcissist in Chief over the next year and a half...but you know what, those brave men and women will do it proudly, as they are the only honorable Americans in this charade.

As Don King says, "Only in America." Obama says we are not at war with, nor will we ever be at war with Islam. Apparently Islam didn't get that memo, since their very holy book says

" And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah." Qur'an (2:191-193)

Or how about this peaceful little verse from Islam...

"They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks." Qu'ran (4:89)

Do not be fooled America. Islam is not a peaceful religion. The Qu'ran clearly states that all must submit to Islam or be killed

IT'S ABOUT TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR LIFE, AMERICANS

I often come up with what I plan to write on during my morning run. For some reason, ideas seem to bounce into my brain housing group (military term) as I am punishing myself physically. Today, I decided to put politics in the background; somewhat, and talk about life in general. Don't worry, I promise not to become a philosopher, as I do not feel that is a respectable occupation. If you spend your entire life thinking about things you'll never accomplish anything. Life is a combination of thinking and doing, and that's somewhat the direction I am going today.

It seems that more and more Americans these days want, more like demand the government to take a more active role in their everyday lives. I do not wish to examine the government's motives for this, as I do at great length almost everyday. Today I want to talk specifically to Americans who may believe that it is the government's duty to take care of them.

Once upon a time we were taught, as children, that we were responsible for our own actions, and that actions have consequences. This apparently isn't the thought process among a great many Americans anymore, as so many look to others to blame for every mistake they make. The liberal lawmakers as well as the media fuel this, by spinning so many of their news stories in that direction. We need look no further than the Fort Hood shooting last week for an example. Why does the media insist on telling all Americans stories about poor Major Hasan, who was criticized by his peers, had no friends, was persecuted for his religion, and was forced by the evil Army to listen to hundreds of soldiers' PTSD stories to the point in which he broke. The story is actually quite simple. Maj. Hasan gunned down 14 (that's right pro-murder advocates I said 14) innocent people...end of story. When did the "why" become more important than the "what"?

Before I go off on a rant here, let me pull this back on topic. The point is Hasan is responsible for his actions...period!

On a smaller, less violent scale, Americans should be responsible for their actions. More so than just that, we should want to be responsible for our actions. I see too many Americans content to live on unemployment and welfare, rather than get a job. I see too many that feel entitled to free healthcare. How many Americans had no problem taking a government bailout of their mortgage, while some of us scratched and clawed to keep paying ours. Oh, that's right...it wasn't their fault it was the evil lenders who didn't explain well enough what "Adjustable Rate Mortgage" meant. Sometimes all of this "not my fault" victimization angers me, and other times it just makes me sad.

Why does it make me sad, you ask? Quite simply, life is a magical ride, but you only get to enjoy it once. Most of us are going to grow old one day (some of us feel old already) and be unable to do things we were once able to do. On that same note, nobody is promised another day...your life could end tomorrow. If it were all over tomorrow, what would you be proud of? It's a simple question, but one that this generation may have a hard time answering. So many have been brought up to believe that they are entitled to everything they want, with little to no effort. Some have gone so far as to believe they are entitled to not be offended by anything they see or hear. If you live your life taking handouts and bailouts, and anything else you can scam without effort, what will you be proud of?

My mother resides in an assisted living facility now, as she is in advanced stages of multiple sclerosis. If you want to witness the point I am making here, I challenge you to go visit one, even if you don't know anyone. They love to have visitors. When you go, you will have no problem getting that generation of Americans to share stories with you about their lives. You will hear numerous entertaining stories of events they were involved in, and troubles they were able to overcome. What will this younger generation of Americans speak of when that day comes?

The point I am making, at an alarmingly slow pace I suppose is this. You have but one life to live here on this earth. Live it to it's fullest. Make a difference! Do things you're proud of. Not happy with your job? Start a new career. Do something you enjoy and that you can take pride in. Make a difference in someone elses life and I guarantee you will be a happier person. When you were a child you had exciting goals and dreams, we all did. Who gave you the idea that those dreams had to die? I beg of you to not accept this life of minimal effort under the care of government social programs. It may be the path of least resistance now, but one day you will have grandchildren who will look up at you and ask about what you did when you were younger. They won't want to here stories about all of the free government programs that you eeked through life on, compliments of other Americans taxpayer dollars.

Go live your life! Take pride in your accomplishments! Learn from your failures! Work hard, and don't blame anyone else. The Constitution says you are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Start pursuing!!

When Political Correctness Kills

I was going to get back to pontificating on what I believe this week, but have been so angered by the media coverage of the Islamic terrorist attack on Fort Hood that I felt the need to speak on this topic.

First, and foremost, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and the families of everyone involved in this cowardly attack. God bless all of you as you cope with the tragedy and loss.

Next, I want to examine the crossroads we find ourselves at as a nation. I do not feel as though I am dramatizing the situation by saying that. I feel we most assuredly are at a critical juncture in our nations history which, based upon the decisions we make in the near future, will define just how much breath is left in the lungs of our republic.

A brief overview of the facts of the Fort Hood shooting are in order. Last Thursday afternoon, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, TX, killing 13 and wounding 38 others. Witnesses stated he shouted, "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great!") before he began shooting. Shortly after the tragic events unfolded, intelligence began to report many troubling things about Maj. Hasan. It was discovered that he was a devout muslim. He had worshipped at a mosque in 2001 that was led by radical Imam Anwar al-Awlaki , believed to be a "spiritual adviser" to three of the 9/11 hijackers, and may have met two of them. It was further reported by other soldiers that Hasan openly voiced his opposition to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq in terms that were described as anti-American propaganda, and had also made anti-Semitic comments. It was also uncovered that he may have posted comments on the internet sympathetic to homicide bombers, comparing them to soldiers who fall on grenades.

With all of this information on hand to support that Maj Hasan committed a domestic act of terrorism in the name of radical Islam, the media, instead, is playing multi-cultural damage control by attempting to draw the conclusion that Maj Hasan was mentally unstable, due to the stress placed upon him by the US Army and by his patients, who's post traumatic stress stories he had to listen to every day. Isn't that a convenient way for the liberal media to turn the story of the tragedy around so that they might be able to take another pot shot or two at the war they are against in Afghanistan and Iraq, rather than admit that we have suffered another tragic domestic act of terrorism, compliments of Islam. As Rahm Emanuel has clearly stated, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste." Thus, the liberals are attempting to spin this tragedy into an anti-war sing-a-long.

Maj Hasan had never deployed into a combat zone, yet media sources are putting every quack they can find on the air to elaborate on how he may have been suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Some went so far as to create a new disorder out of the incident. Coming soon to your neighborhood...pre-traumatic stress disorder!!! Apparently, this is the overwhelming amount of stress suffered by an individual who is preparing to deploy to combat, but hasn't yet. Oh, how far we have come as a nation when we create a new psychological disorder every day to explain the latest derelict's unacceptable behavior, and release him or her from taking responsibility for their actions, but that's another article. This goes much deeper into the darkest pits of multi-culturalism and political correctness.

I find the utter hypocrisy of the mainstream media the most disturbing in the last two days. They have begun concentrating their efforts on the Army soldiers who had worked with and knew Hasan over the years. They seem to be very critical of the fact that none of these witnesses to his past anti-American behavior had come forward or reported it to authorities. I, myself, am extremely disturbed that so many knew of his behaviors and anti-American sentiments, and did not report it as well, but the media has no right to be critical, as they are one of the mechanisms which created this politically correct atmosphere which tells us if we express concern about a muslim that we are unfairly stereotyping them. The media has gone out of its way since 9/11 to drill into our heads that Islam is a peaceful religion, and they don't hesitate to report any slight infraction against any muslim in this country which could even remotely be looked at as a prejudice against their religion. The ACLU has more cases in court representing muslims who feel they have been wronged by the system than Nancy Pelosi has plastic surgeries.

One needs look no further than the "Flying Imams" to see how apologetic we have become to the muslims of this country. The Imams, who had just attended a North American Imams Federation Conference, were asked to the leave the plane after several passengers saw suspicious behavior, including asking for seat-belt extenders without being obese, making critical comments of theUnited States in Arabic and sitting in pairs throughout the cabin in unassigned seats.

They immediately cried discrimination and claimed their rights were being violated. Rather than tell them that their behavior was suspicious and unacceptable, they received an undisclosed settlement from the airline. At one point in the proceedings they even considered suing the individuals who reported their suspicious behavior. Imagine if they had acted that way within the first year after the 9/11 attacks. They would have been beaten within an inch of their lives by half of the passengers on the plane, and received no recourse. My, what short term memory we have. If I were to go to the airport and so much as joke about anything suspicious regarding myself and an aircraft, you can bet I would be detained by airport security personnel for hours and questioned, and rightfully so.

Is it just me, or does all of this tip-toeing around the sensitivities of muslims anger and sicken you as well? Once upon a time this country was proud to be considered a Christian nation. Our present court system is now consumed with taking down any and all Christian displays, while at the same time apologizing to and awarding monetary settlements to any muslim who feels he was given a wrongful double-take.

We must wake up before it is too late and stop allowing political correctness to protect radical minority fringe groups from any oversight, lest Ronald Reagan's quote come true.

What I Believe (Part 2)


Okay, before I move on to the next installment of Ron's Manifesto, I must comment on some of the feedback I received on the first article. I find it amazing that you can title an article "What I Believe" and still anger so many people, as though they do not believe you should be allowed an opinion if it differs from their viewpoint. I also find it amusing that the extreme left will go to any length to destroy and/or water down an opinion which does not coincide with their plan for our country. I also received quite a bit of positive feedback, which is always appreciated. Okay, enough reflections from yesterday. On with today!


3. IF YOU'RE A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY YOU ARE AN AMERICAN!! Quite simply, just as I am not a German-American or a Polish-American, you are not an Asian-American, African-American, Latino-American, or any other (insert multi-cultural tag here)-American. We are all Americans, and this constant attempt by liberals to water down and/or demonize American culture and identity by separating Americans by their origins from other countries is somewhat racist in itself. Our school children are being taught to celebrate every different culture in the world except for American culture, and it is slowly eroding our identity as a nation.


4. I BELIEVE IN THE SECOND AMENDMENT. That's right. I'm one of those evil supporters of an American citizens right to bear arms. Do tragedies happen in this country from time to time involving guns? Yes, but it is a knee-jerk, emotional, and most importantly incorrect decision to think that outlawing gun ownership is the answer. Firearms in the possession of honest Americans is a deterrent to violent crime in our country. The type of person that commits violent crimes in this nation with guns does not have any regard for any laws, much less gun laws. The only thing that will stop them is another individual with a gun. Quite simply, guns are not bad, some people are bad. This naive attempt to label guns as the problem is irresponsible, and is just another way our society is attempting to not hold people accountable for their actions.


This takes me to my next rant which I will have to continue on Monday, as I must get ready for work now.

What I Believe...Whether It Offends You or Not.


In this day and age, it is difficult to get people to clearly tell you what they believe and support. It's pretty much impossible to get this honesty from politicians. I have decided to air out my views on a variety of topics, at the risk of possibly alienating a few. I believe it is important to honestly give people an assessment of where you are coming from, and it is also a nice way to rant a little, so here it goes...The Manifesto of Ron, if you will:


1. I BELIEVE AMERICA IS GOOD...that's right, contrary to the worldwide "apology tour" Barack Obama has been on since assuming duties as President, I believe values and principles established in the founding of this great nation have changed the world in a very positive way over the past 234 years. Have we made mistakes as a nation? Of course, but we most assuredly do not owe the world any apologies for our track record of promoting liberty, removing tyranny, feeding the hungry, rescuing every third world nation from natural disasters, etc., etc.


2. I BELIEVE IN CAPITALISM...Sorry Michael Moore! As much as you attempt to villainize it, you are a huge hippocrite, as you could not have gotten where you are today without it. All you Hollywood leftist, elitist morons, listen up! I know most of you have the IQ of Forrest Gump, but you need to know that "evil capitalism" you lobby against every day is what has created your multi-million dollar mansions, cars, servants, and your ability to fly off to Africa on a whim and adopt little Ndugu for your nanny to raise. Do some people get ahead in a capitalist system via corrupt means, and at the expense of the "little guy?" Yes, but as a whole the system of capitalism is the only long term successful system there is, and it is most definitely the fairest system. It gives the individual all of the liberty and freedom to pursue and accomplish whatever goals and dreams they may have in life. It merely requires that each individual add their own EFFORT and HARD WORK, which seems to be a hangup for many.


I will continue with, " The Manifesto of Ron" tomorrow with points 3 and 4...and maybe even 5 if I'm feeling froggy, but for now I must go to work to make a living for myself and my family. For you socialists, it's that little thing I mentioned about "effort and hard work." It's a liberty the lazy and non-producing population of our country are more than willing to give away in return for the government taking care of their needs. Leader of the Free World's Indecisiveness Proves He's Not A Leader

So I've learned many things in my young life...well, maybe not so young anymore. Nonetheless, I have learned enough from 16 years in the Marine Corps to feel confident discussing some of the finer aspects of leadership. I attempted to give our POTUS a heads up with an article I wrote earlier this year, but he must not have gotten the memo. He's probably still using the old cover sheets on his TPS reports as well (for the Office Space crowd).

Watching the current "leadership abortion" take place with the decision making in Afghanistan has caused me to once again give our Commander in Chief a lesson in leadership. If you want to read the first lesson I still have it archived here:

This lesson involves a simple period of instruction on decision making. Decisiveness is one of the 14 Leadership Traits which are stressed and instilled in it's leadership. Decisive, as defined by Webster's Dictionary:

1 : having the power or quality of deciding

"Having the power or quality of deciding." So, at least according to Webster, not the little TV midget from the 80's (sorry PC police, I meant little person), this would require that the person decide, i.e. make some sort of decision!!

Let me simplify this a little more for you, Mr. President. As a leader you are faced with many decisions. By far the worst decision you can make when faced with each dilemma is no decision at all. When you are facing a tough decision and you actually have the fortitude to stand up and make a choice, one of two things happen:

A. The choice will be correct and you will receive positive feedback, a little more clout, experience, and trust among your superiors and subordinates.

B. The choice will be incorrect, you will receive negative feedback and be educated on the proper way to complete the task next time. You will take a hit on your clout and trust, albeit temporarily, as long as you continue to be decisive and gain experience your correct decisions will begin to outweigh your incorrect ones.

The lesson here is that even when you make a decision and it turns out to be incorrect, you still gain experience, knowledge, and wisdom for future decisions. What do you gain by making no decision at all? Well, as a politician, by not committing strongly to one side or the other, he is able to "straddle the fence" and attempt to keep both sides of a debate on his side, thereby helping his re-election campaign. Other than that, there is nothing to be gained by making no decision. Making no decision gives you no clout, trust, experience, wisdom, etc. It will award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul (for Billy Madison fans).

So, as my military peers wait in Afghanistan for much needed reinforcements, and their families lose sleep at night wondering if you, The President of The United States, are going to do anything to protect their loved ones, I request you take this lesson (this one is free of charge) and utilize it. Send the reinforcements or pull them the hell out of there...but DO SOMETHING because your current indecisiveness is costing young American "leaders" lives.

And They Want Us To Trust Them With Our Healthcare??

It never ceases to amaze me that so many Americans blindly jump to support any new government run program which promises to make their life easier. It takes a minimal amount of research into past government social programs to prove that this is almost never the case. The government has; time and again, proven itself to be one of the most inefficient entities at accomplishing any task. From idea to implementation, our federal government will always find the slowest and most costly way of getting things done.

Take for example the recent (if you want to call it that) report from Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the commander on the ground in Afghanistan. On August 30th he detailed a report to President Obama which, above all other things, requested 40,000 more troops be dispatched to the region immediately to prevent the current U.S. forces in the country from losing their foothold, thus causing the mission there to fail.

Today is October 1st. No decision has been made yet. Our President and his administration are still considering the request 30 days later!!! The military expert, with eyes on exactly what is taking place in Afghanistan, has stated that our mission there will likely fail without 40k more troops on the ground and President Obama is still contemplating the request over a month later.

There are so many things wrong with that scenario I don't know where to start. Thirty days to make a decision on mission accomplishment and lives of young American servicemen?? I must deduce from the time spent pondering the request that Obama is actually considering not granting it. If that is true, why have a Commander on the ground if you are not going to trust his recommendations? I believe if I were Gen McChrystal I would resign my post if I were treated in this disrespectful of a manner. Is Obama, with his vast military experience, going to actually tell the General he is wrong on his assessment?

Meanwhile, back in the actual combat zone, our troops are undermanned and waiting for their reinforcements. They've been waiting a month, and will continue waiting much longer, for even if the decision is finally made to send them, they don't just show up there overnight like in a game of Risk. If the decision is made not to send reinforcements is Obama going to pull the military out of Afghanistan? If he is not going to give the military the tools they need to accomplish their mission, then he can't exactly leave the remaining there to be sitting ducks. Or maybe he can...he is, after all, the President of The United States, CEO of the Automotive industry, Savior of the Banking Industry, Spender above all Spenders of taxpayers money that does not yet exist, and Grand Poobah to ACORN...ooops!! My mistake...they deleted that title from the record.

Getting back to my point. If it takes this long for this administration to give a yes or no response on a time sensitive issue like sending reinforcements to a war zone, how smoothly do you think the government taking over healthcare will be? How long will it take to have decisions made regarding your health and wellness? Look at what a debacle the "Cash For Clunkers" program has been. Most dealerships are still waiting for the federal funds promised to them by this program. I think we, as Americans need to take back our liberty and start our own "Clunker Removal" program with our elected leaders. They need to be replaced with more efficient models which will support liberty, justice, and the Constitution.

Most articles have been focusing on the 83-7 vote to remove funding as a victory, and while I agree it is a victory, I feel it important to point out that SEVEN SENATORS VOTED TO KEEP GIVING OUR TAX DOLLARS TO A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!!! Hispanic Caucus Helps to Prove Joe Wilson's Accusation...Obama Lied

Follow along with me everyone. It shouldn't be hard. We will be travelling along a trail of logic and common sense...liberals, feel free to find another article, say at Huffington Post, which you will be able to keep up with.

Last week President Obama gave a speech to Congress. In it, he claimed that illegal immigrants would not be included in the healthcare reform bill, and that those who claim that they are were fear-mongering and being dishonest. Of course everyone knows now the infamous words from Joe Wilson, "You Lie!" An entire week goes by which sees Wilson getting punished for daring to call the President a liar.

The President, a week later, announces that he seeks to have the wording in the healthcare bill which would bar illegal immigrants from receiving healthcare under the new plan. Now, all of a sudden, the hispanic caucus is outraged, and are considering no longer supporting the bill.

Am I going crazy here, or does that pretty much say that, at least in the congressional hispanic caucus' eye, the bill, as it stood before, would have provided healthcare for illegal immigrants? And if I further connect the dots, wouldn't that, at least in the minds of the hispanic caucus, support that Joe Wilson was telling the truth, as it was spoken, on that date?

One week later, Obama seeks to have illegal immigrants barred from healthcare bill...hispanic caucus is outraged, and considers withdrawing support for bill.

Seriously, Joe Wilson is now officially owed an apology from President Obama, Jimmy (last worst president) Carter, and anyone in Congress who voted to censure him yesterday...which included the below listed RINO's. If I were Joe, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Obama and ACORN...Like Peas and Carrots!


In light of the recent findings regarding the criminal enterprise known as ACORN, it is important to re-visit some articles which were written last year...you know, the year we elected Barack Hussein Obama as President. One of the most informative article I've found was written by Stanley Kurtz at the National Review Online. This article details just how close Obama's ties were with ACORN and was written on May 29, 2008. You remember, back when nobody cared to hear anything negative about this wonderful man of change.

Genius!!! Still Going with the Isolated Incident Defense ACORN??

Just like good chess players, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles had to have known their opponents moves well ahead of their own. After releasing an incredibly damaging video last week which revealed extreme corruption in ACORN (not exactly shocking to anyone who has been following their maneuvering), ACORN representatives immediately went into smoke-screen mode, claiming it was a Fox News financed set-up (not that this responds to the behavior of their employees) and that the filmmakers had been turned away at numerous other offices. They claimed the story was not being told accurately, as it did not mention all of the offices which turned the filmmakers away.

First and foremost, if I am the CEO of an organization which has hundreds of satellite offices and one of those offices is revealed to be operating in a grossly criminal manner, the last defense I would ever introduce to the media would be the "my other offices aren't doing this" defense. That, in itself, screams out incompetence at the highest level of the organization. Secondly, I believe any successful CEO would clean up his organization and take steps to thank the filmmakers for pointing out the corruption taking place in the organization. Instead ACORN has taken steps to file a lawsuit against the filmmakers, showing just how pompously crooked they are as an organization.

Nonetheless, Mr O'Keefe and Ms. Giles knew that the cronies would make this move, and to completely discredit the "isolated incident" theory, they had other videos at different locations in the U.S., which show ACORN workers providing the same assistance to a pimp and prostitute who want ACORN assistance with obtaining a loan for a home to run their prostitution business, complete with underage girls from El Salvador.

So, ACORN, two questions for you. How is the "isolated incident" theory working out for you now that three separate videos have been released? Also, how many other examples do you think Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Giles have, yet to be released, should you continue with this disgusting attempt to make ACORN sound like the victim?

9/11 Memorium: In Honor of Stuart Seid Louis







I am sure September 11th, 2001, began like any other day for Stuart Seid Louis. Stuart had accomplished so much in his young life. A successful career as an investment banker, a wife Sharon, and two wonderful children, Evan and Kara, he was respected by his peers as "the consummate professional" and known as a "sharp dresser" in the workplace. I can only imagine it was another day at the office for him. At the age of 43 he was well liked and respected as a managing director at Sandler O'Neill & Partners. He excelled at work, yet was not consumed by it. At least once every week he made sure to get out and take his father to lunch. He also consistently ensured he attended parent/teacher conferences and was very involved in family life.


I wonder if he had any feeling this day, as he took the elevator to the the 104th floor of 2 World Trade Center, any intuition, that this day we now know to be so tragic, was about to take place. I am certain that he did not, and it is a blessing, as I pray his final thoughts were the happy memories he had helped to create over the years with his wife and children.
Sadly, Stuart's life ended on this day, in an act of cowardice I pray this nation never forgets. Thanks to Mr. Louis, we can remember the accomplishments and the happiness he brought to his loved ones. That cannot be taken away. The time he took out of his life to make others' lives brighter, that light shall live on in the hearts and the minds of his family and friends, who are certainly better for having known him for the short time the Lord allowed him to be on this Earth.
On the 8th anniversary of this horrific act, my heart goes out to the family of Stuart Seid Louis, as well as all of the victims' families. May we always remember these innocent victims, and resolve ourselves to do whatever is necessary to never allow such a disaster to take place again.

How Dare Joe Wilson Yell "You Lie" While Obama Is Lying!!

For those who may have missed it last night, Rep. Joe Wilson had the audacity to tell the truth in the Capitol Building last night. I know, this is rather shocking to hear that the truth might actually still be spoken in those chambers from time to time. Even more shocking is the outburst was directed at the almighty President Obama, who, at that very moment, was; in fact, lying to everyone who was listening to his address.

I have included the video, not so much so you can hear the outburst, but what I found to be the most entertaining in this clip, is the reaction of Nancy Pelosi. Watch how she reacts after the comment is made. She gets this shocked, "how dare anyone speak ill of the almighty Obama" look on her face, and then continues to stare in that direction for quite some time, as if to identify who it was, so they might be the first to be sent to the newly built internment camps. In all seriousness, it was hard to watch any portion of this speech, as it makes me incredibly nauseous to see Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all in one picture at the same time. It's like the the "Perfect Storm" of radical statists, and it makes me reach for the pepto.

Stop Twisting the Bible Liberals, Jesus was NOT a Socialist!

I have seen a growing number of liberal articles being printed which attempt to paint conservative Christians as hippocrites for opposing the healthcare reform bill. Let me first say that I am overjoyed that modern day liberals could take the time out of their busy day to find and crack open a bible, but am disturbed that they seem to have had an ulterior motive in doing so.

Apparently the new attack is to refer to any passage in which Jesus refers to the "poor" or "sick" and claim that Jesus calls upon our country to care for them, with any resistance to this being hypocrisy on the part of conservatives, a large number of which are Christians. First let me say that I, as a Christian, feel that attempting to support either side of a political issue by invoking Jesus' words is ill-advised. For the Christian, we know that Jesus was sent to Earth for specific reasons, namely to bear all of the sins of the world on his back, so that we might have an opportunity to accept him as our Savior and have everlasting life. So I do not support the premise behind their articles whatsoever, as it is based in political gain, not edification of Jesus, but I will look at a few verses and investigate:

The main set of verses being utilized by the libs is Matthew 25:34-40:

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Important to note here is Jesus makes no mention of the Government performing any of these functions, but is speaking to individual humans regarding their need to conduct themselves in a charitable manner. This can actually be further clarified if one were to read the earlier verses in the same chapter:

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.


These passages would support that we, as individuals are to utilize our talents to work, be successful, and most importantly to represent Our Lord in a positive manner and give unto him for the talents he has blessed us with, through tithing and charity, as individuals!

Let's even look at the verses in the same chapter, just a little earlier than this:

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.


I ask you, do these verses support socialism in any way? I am not here to say what Jesus would or would not support politically, as I feel he would chastise any having the debate in the first place. Jesus came to this earth for a much more important mission than choosing a political party! However, if he were, in fact, a socialist, he would have chastised the five wise virgins for not giving of their oil to the foolish virgins.

See, what the liberals need to know is that it is very ill-advised (understatement) to twist the words of Jesus to gain political favor. Please do not confuse this article as any attempt on my part to say Jesus is a conservative. I most assuredly am not. I believe Jesus would not waste his time with such political discussions. Jesus called on all of us, to be charitable and take care of our fellow man, to feed the hungry, care for the sick, etc. He calls on us as individuals to conduct ourselves in this manner, and likewise, he explains that we will be judged individually on these things one day. No government entity will be judged on judgement day, it will be each, according to their own individual acts.

I am not attempting to preach a sermon today. I have not been called to be a preacher, but I felt it important to address this argument being made by socialist liberals, as I find it reprehensible that they would attempt to use the words of the bible to support their policies, yet, on a daily basis they are the ones who fight so fervently against prayer in schools, any religious display on any government property, and most importantly anything pro-life. Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal.

Van Jones...A Battle Won, Stay Focused On the War

I woke up this morning to the wonderful news that Van Jones, the radical, self-avowed communist, had resigned as "Green Jobs Czar" amid an outpouring of protest from Americans nationwide.

First and foremost, I am happy and relieved to see that our liberty, freedom of speech, and conservative values still carry weight in this rapidly declining democracy. Second, and more importantly in my opinion, it is important to not use this victory as an excuse to relax our efforts.

There are too many battles to be fought for anyone to rest now. Momentum is currently on our side and we must keep the troops focused on future battlefields like socialized healthcare, cap and trade, the other unvetted czars that have escaped scrutiny, namely FCC czar Mark Lloyd, who's words demonstrate that his sole mission is to quiet our voices...gee, I wonder why he would want to do that? It could be due to the fact that we are making a difference.

It is time to use the Van Jones victory as proof we can make a difference and momentum for these future engagements, not as a time to begin high-fiving each other, lest we be distracted and miss something the statists attempt to slip by us in the night.

Wow! Van Jones Produces Anti-American Music As Well!!

The hits just keep on coming for Van Jones. Now uncovered by http://www.verumserum.com/, is an anti-war, anti-American record which his organization sponsored and he is featured on. Below is an excerpt of an interview where he mentions the record:

Jones: We've been applying a concept borrowed from South Africa: "Govern from below." We take high school students and college-age people who've decided they don't care about anything and put them through workshops and educational programs so they can become advocates for themselves. We have a reputation for showing up with several dozen young people at city government meetings and turning the mic over to these young people, who then use hip-hop and poetry to describe the conditions they'd like to see changed in their community.

Marable: What's the general reaction?

Jones: Policymakers are usually blown away by the passion and creativity, but also by the pain these young people are speaking about. We've shown we can win reform, not because I have a law degree, but because dozens of young people have truth on their side and can speak it.

Marable: A lot of this is about mass disfranchisement. Anywhere from one-third to half of all adults who are black are not even in the paid labor force. In communities like Harlem, the largest employer is the fast-food industry. The older civil rights leadership, with a few notable exceptions such as Julian Bond, has not yet effectively spoken to new realities that are destroying an entire generation of young black women and men. Not fully and not effectively. That's why I'm so hopeful about this new generation emerging, like Jeff Johnson of the youth division of NAACP. It's this kind of leadership we desperately need to solve the new problems of the neo-political liberal age.

Jones: Amen. When we talk about neo-liberalism, essentially we have a system where there are no rules for the rich and no rights for the poor. Politics of liberation in the new century that [exists] in terms of integration vs. segregation is anachronistic. It has little to do with what's happening today. So we raise new slogans: "schools, not jails"; "books, not bars"; "jobs, not jails." Whereas people in the '60s were protesting on campuses, we have a generation of blacks and Latinos protesting for their rights to get on campuses and have the opportunity to learn. The dynamic is very different. The people we see on a daily basis, when they go to high school the police cars are already there, because they are stationed there. If they get into a push-and-shove match in the hallway, they don't go to the principal's office, they go to the precinct in handcuffs. That's the reality were dealing with: over-policing, overincarceration. Our job is to say, 'Look, we want safe communities.' And the safest communities are not the ones with the most police. The safest communities are the ones with the best jobs and education. We want what works in the suburbs. We want that for our communities. It's a very different fight. At the same time it's a continuation of the fight that started years ago.

Marable: That's right. Every generation must find its own voice and use culture in creative ways to speak to the new realities. In the 1960s you had the Freedom Singers of SNCC. You had [anthemic] songs such as "We Shall Overcome", and now the 21st-century hip-hop generation increasingly uses the most progressive currents as a way of interrogating and challenging the prison-industrial complex, and structural racism, discrimination based on gender, race, class, sexual orientation. [I understand you have] developed a record label, Freedom Fighter Music.

Jones: Yes, we've had one for a little more than a year. Our second CD is coming out this year.

Associated Press Disregards Family Wishes for Deceased Marine’s Photo

The Associated Press has released a photo of Marine Lance Corporal Joshua Bernard, which graphically portrays the Marine shortly after being hit by a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) during a firefight in the Helmland Province of Southern Afghanistan. LCpl Bernard later died from the injuries suffered in the attack.

The parents of LCpl Bernard were shown the photograph from embedded reporter Julie Jacobson, who had been following the unit. LCpl Bernard’s father, John Bernard, specifically requested that the AP not release the photograph, citing that it was disrespectful to his son’s memory.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates described the decision to release the photo in spite of the parents’ wishes, “appalling” and later wrote to the wire services CEO Thomas Curley, stating, “Your lack of compassion and common sense in choosing to put this image of their maimed and stricken child on the front page of multiple American newspapers is appalling. The issue here is not law, policy or constitutional right — but judgment and common decency.”

I couldn’t agree more with the Defense Secretary. It is disgraceful that the Associated Press would not honor the wishes of the bereaved family. What kind of an organization wouldn’t go the extra mile to see that a family facing such hardship were comforted in any way possible, given the opportunity to do so, much less to disregard the one request they made from the organization.

This selfish, business first mentality, degrades human decency and serves no purpose other than to garner attention for themselves at the expense of a mourning family. That, Mr. Curley, is simply evil!

I’m not sure on the legalities involved in such a move, but if it is possible, the Pentagon should consider revoking the imbedded reporter privilege that the AP currently abuses. They have obviously shown they are not responsible or decent enough to responsibly utilize them.

Remove Charles Rangel From Office New York!!! All Military read!!

I started working on an article earlier this morning about Representative Charles Rangel and his attempt to throw the race card into the healthcare reform debate. In researching past quotes of Charles Rangel, I came across a quote of his which makes me want to immediately fly to New York or Washington DC, wherever this uneducated toolbag is at, and confront him about it. The quote reads:


“Meanwhile, our young men and women whose economic circumstances make military service a viable career choice are dying bravely in a war with no end in sight.”


For those who do not know me already, I am a United States Marine. I have been a United States Marine for over 15 years. I say that not to receive accolades or “thank you’s” from anyone. I did not join the military due to some “economic circumstance” which, according to your wording, made me settle for such a second-rate career.


As I try to respond to this I am so flooded with anger and disbelief that I can’t even properly put my thoughts together. This is an elected official representing the United States of America!! The same United States that successfully defeated a far superior, better funded, British Army to gain their independence. The same United States that fought to defeat Hitler and the Nazis in Europe. The same United States that maintains the best trained, most powerful, most educated ALL VOLUNTEER fighting force this world has ever been witness to!!


New York allows this man…this weak, ill informed, uneducated, hate-mongoring, instigating coward to represent to represent them??? Either he should be removed from New York or the Statue of Liberty should be moved from New York to a State which is accurately represented by what she stands for!!


Let me give you a bit of education Mr. Rangel, scratch that…I don’t have enought respect to call you Mr. Rangel, Chuck.


I have served my country honorably, as so many other military members have in the past, the present, and will continue to well into the future. There are many reasons I joined the Marine Corps Chuck. Let me introduce a few new words to your vocabulary, which you obviously have little knowledge regarding:


LIBERTY- It is freedom at the center of why people join the military, Chuck. Sure some are attracted by other things as well, but the vast majority of the military is filled with freedom loving Americans who want to perform a job each day that they can be proud of. As hard as it is for me to admit this, I am proud to defend your right to say and act as you please, as ignorant as you may be, you are free to do it.


PATRIOTIC- I am as patriotic as they come. I still get a little choked up at times when I see our nations flag and hear our national anthem before a sporting event. I feel so strongly about liberty and our constitution that I want to do my part to preserve what we have in this great nation


HONOR- There is no more honorable act a man or woman can do in this country than to volunteer to defend the rights and liberties of the citizens of this country. There is an honor those of us who serve get to experience that others do not.


FREEDOM- We believe in freedom so strongly that we are willing to lay our lives down in order to preserve it. I understand that this type of dedication is certainly foreign to you, Chuck.


Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, Freedom!!! This country does not oppress it’s inhabitants to the point that they are forced to join the military, Chuck. You would love to think that true though, wouldn’t you Chuck? That would allow you to preach your hateful words and split this nation along racial lines. After all, that’s all you have to keep you in office, isn’t it Chuck? If you didn’t have the race card to play everyday, and the curtains were opened to reveal any real substance or qualifications you have to perform the job title you have, this nation and the State of New York would find you sorely lacking!


Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, Freedom!!! These are words which are like a foreign language to you. After all, these terms aren’t regularly mentioned when discussing the investigations by two House sub-committees into your personal finances and fund-raising, which have revealed that you failed to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income. Not a lot of honor going on in that, is there Chuck?


New York, please do this nation and yourselves a favor and remove this undeserving cretin from office, and relocate him, preferably to a prison cell.

So Predictable…When The Going Gets Tough, The Libs Play The Race Card

Well I bet nobody saw this coming. Bogged down by sinking approval numbers for the President, and a growing disdain among Americans for the democrat led senate, Charles Rangel has enacted the ever-so-popular liberal defense mechanism, the race card.


Rangel, the Chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means committee stated that “bias” and “prejudice” toward Obama are fueling opposition to health-care reform. Rangel further stated, “Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is president of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, ‘How did this happen?’ “

Rangel said when critics complain that Obama is “trying to interfere” with his push for healthcare reform, “then you know there’s just a misunderstanding, a bias, a predjudice, an emotional feeling.”

Rangel went so far as to compare the battle for healthcare reform to the battle for civil rights stating, “Why do we have to wait for the right to vote? Why can’t we get what God has given us? That is the right to live as human beings and not negotiate with white southerners and not count the votes. Just do the right thing.”

REALLY?? SERIOUSLY?? How is it possible that this guy gets elected to public office. Such uneducated, thoughtless, baseless arguments, from the mouth of a Conservative, would spell the end of their career as a politician. This isn’t the first stupid thing Charles rangel has ever stated.

He launched a number of uneducated responses during the Hurricane Katrina fiasco, like, “The Iraq war took priority over domestic disaster prevention” and “The people who couldn’t get out of New Orleans to escape the storm were predominantly Black.”

Here’s another brainy quote from your elected official, New York…”Today many Caribbean workers can be found in the hospital, construction, service and hotel industries, but there is also a growing professional sector.” ??????

How about this one Rangel fans, “We love the ability of the people to influence the actions of decision-makers, of lawmakers and presidents to be removed from or elevated to office by the will of voters, and of the community to connect amongst diverse populations through the ballot box.” To know what Rangel really meant by this, substitute ACORN for “people” and MoveOn.org for “voters”

I, however, should not be so hard on ole Charlie I guess. He is only utilizing the liberals favorite play in their predictable playbook. Anytime the going gets tough, the liberals play the race card. Sure, it’s racism fueling the vast outcry at townhalls across the nation Charlie, because it couldn’t possibly be that the majority of Americans don’t support the socialized healthcare bill submitted by the liberals. It has to be something shallow like racism, because anyone intelligent enough to be a liberal would know that liberals always know what’s best for us.

If it is indeed racism, Chuck, how did Barack Obama get elected in the first place? If this nation is still so consumed by racism, as you seem to spew from your mouth on a daily basis, then how could an African-American be democratically elected by this nation?

New York, you should be ashamed and embarrassed that you routinely elect this undeserving, uneducated, hate-filled, poor excuse for a leader to represent your state. This is just the beginning of my focus on Rangel today. I found a quote which disturbes me so much, as a military member, that I most post separately on it.
