The major snafu, if you will, to Mr. Reid's uneducated comparison, is that he fails to inform listeners that it was Republicans that supported legislation to end slavery, not Democrats. It was Republicans that supported legislation to give women the right to vote. I have no doubt that media outlets, other than Fox News, will give Reid a pass on this.
I have one question for Mr. Reid. "Which party supported slavery, and which party ended it?"
